Can you give a bit more detailed explanations why you would prefer centralized exchanges rather than decentralized ones, please.Here are some reasons.
1) Higher volume and better liquidity.
2) Can purchase with fiat
3) Don't have to run a hot wallet.
4) Password recovery options available.
5) 2FA available
2) Most centralized also have no fiat at all, so what?
3) In case of CB you don't have to also. For example I don't sell for fiat on exchanges - localbitcoins provide a better option.
4) Passwords are also available and waiting for hackers, and you can't prevent it in any way. In DEX it's only up to you how to protect your assets.
5) The same as in 4. I'd better have additional trezor/ledger authorization.
