I'm very happy about BTX ATMs being on the roadmap. However: which strategy will be used to distribute the ATMs once they will be ready? Who will be supposed to host a BTX ATM and how are you planning to convince them?

I have asked about the price for buying one of these ATMs to install in my country but do not get a reply.

Not sure if they can give you the price at this exact moment, to actually calculate the price they must account in some expenses that they still don't know how much will cost them.
I am sure the moment they finalise project they will make press release with relevant information for all interested parties.

Also I am sure that first versions will be installed at some locations that are close to them, probably in some business they own or know the owner in person.

Agreed 100%.. Devs have already told that BTXM company will fix the price.. But my guess could be £5000-£10000...

BTX is not dead.
It has value, community and a great future.
In spite of the fact that I am extremely disappointed at the moment,
I truly believe in the future of this project.

successful project with good team and dev it is now over 3 dollar per coin
The price of BTX is also normal, over 3 dollar per coin is nothing significant. We want to see more differences, maybe it will come quickly.

I believe that it would be useful for Bitcore to have the POS mode. This would keep the price at a consistently high level. But I do not know how this is possible at this stage?

Very cool find, thank you very much, Bombardier.
If someone tweets about BTX, while BTX is crashing or simply being stagnant, it's not going to cause FOMO buying. The price might go up a few dollars, maybe even double and then crash again. BTX is going to have to be making moves and showing signs of a bull run.

If you think this bunch of hapeless amateurs can pull off rolling crypto ATMs, then you are sadly mistaken.  First of all, crypto ATMs to convert cash into crypto are POINTLESS.  It is easy to buy crypto online.  The real use case is ATMs to convert crypto into cash, when you are out and about and you need cash. This crypto ATMs space (crypto to cash) will soon be dominated by major players with Money Handling Licenses.  The bunch of amateurs that is the BTX team stand no chance.  Sorry to say this, but I just wish they could pull their fingers out an look for collaboration with major crypto ATM businesses.

I liked the BTX project and I had great hopes for it.  However, the delevoper and leadership team behind it have turned out to be utterly useless and unprofessional.

A low quality video standing around an ATM speaking in broken English is all they have managed to produce.

No listing on any meaningful exchanges.

It's a tradegy. A great project ruined by hapeless people

I suggest you contact Trilliant (trilliant.io) to get on their ATM platform - but you are probbaly too busy attending eetups talking to yourself.

If LN is implemented on btc network how will it affect BTX..

I'm not sure Lightning Network is a positive thing. There are a multitude of technical difficulties and also the increase in centralization. Additionally, it opens up anyone that is running a gateway into having to abide by government MSB regulation. (Money Service Business) I can tell you that these regulations are extremely stringent and costly to adhere to. It is much better to find ways to scale on chain rather than add a second layer. Just my opinion of course.

I said it before, the coins are being dumped by FPGA miners. I have personally seen it working. I have invested a lot in Bitcore. If you want The price to rise just do a fork or something like that. It will become profitable mining it and buyers will come again.
There are no any fpga miners... look at nethash, it decreases day by day!

I also look at the price...what a shame! bitcore is a great project, i'm sure, and so sad to see how it dying.

there are bitcore fpga miners out there. you can join fpga discord to know more. they just move out now because there are more profitable coins to mine
