People would be good by staying away from Cryptopia and Bit-z. It's always sad to miss your airdrop, don't do this to your self. BTC's reign is coming to end and holding BTX is what you want to do now.

As the entire crypto market relies heavily on BTC, how would it work without it? Will all exchanges switch to a different coin? What do you think that would be? It will all get very messy if that was to happen, after this already terrible market crash I am not looking forward to any big changes. I am hoping things will look a bit better in April, that is traditionally a good month for BTC while March has always been one of the worst.

No plan to other exchanges Huh
agree...
what about poloniex, bittrex, novaexchange?

Our next goal is Bittrex.

Kind Regards Christian

It's almost 1 year..still our next goal is bittrex

After that post lots of things were discussed here. And I remember that was a consensus that while we still have the Airdrop running new Exchanges would be difficult. So let's wait May, and hopefully all weak hands should have dumped their coins and then we can look forward to new Exchanges.

Exactly.  And it’s not so easy getting listed on big exchanges like Bittrex.

Even if i lost the biggest airdrop, i think this is a good system to keep all the people interested in the project together, many other projects have copied the weekly distribution system.
When the market resumes, I am sure that BTX will be one of the first to regain its strength

Can you name some of the projects that copied weekly BTX distribution? Just that I didn't see any.

The claiming period is 6 months. After this period we split the rest to the BTX Holder. 10% from the unclaimed rest is for the BitCore Foundation.
After 6 months-> formula is beta
(your_amout_after_6_months)=((premine_balance*0,9)/(available_amount_total=(BTX_amount_ total./.(premine_balance*0,9))))*your_balance
Example: (304,61 BTX)=((14.400.000)/2.600.000))*55 BTX)
(BTX_amount_ total=17MIO)

This doesn't make sense to me.  Where did they get available total amount?  Why is that only 2.6M and premine bal is 14.4M?  Where does the 55 come from?

The 55 is your example Amaount. The 2.6 Mio are the distributed coins (Example Amount).

There is something wrong with BTX.

The last block 2671 is about 3 hours ago....3 hours...

Anyone know whats going on..

Everyone can make their own decision. Bit-Z and Criptopia account for 96% of the daily ATM. The volume will die if everybody starts looking elsewhere.

Criptopia has been good lately.

Vlad2Vlad,

If lightning network is implemented in Bitcoin network, how will it  affect Bitcore ...

Please don't tell me this time to dump my holdings.. Because I have already dumped all... And I know you are still dumping...

Lol.

Bitcoin is still centralized by Chinese miners (see Cobra’s latest comments) so they want to do a PoW change which will never get consensus.  Also, even with LN, BTC still has blocks that are too small, also per their own devs.  And if LN works on bitcoin then that’s a big bonus for BTX, thank you for getting it all worked out so BTX can now leapfrog BTC.

BTC is dead, people just don’t see it yet.  Too much centralization, too much infighting and too many anarchists to ever get any innovation rolled out in a timely manner.  I expect their best devs to soon move to other coins [like BTX].

Did anyone have unauthorized attempts to log into your Cryptopia account in the last few days? Is this due to some delay in payments? Could someone attack Cryptopia DDOS?

I read that there were hack attempts on cryptopia a couple days ago.

they tried to hack mine 7 times in the past 3 days ...keep getting failed login attempt emails

That’s not good.  I’m thinking the best thing to do at this point is to DUMP!    Grin

It is a habit. Previously, Cryptopia never let me down. I also like it belonging to NZ, because of loyalty to crypto currencies. I'm watching everyone go to Cryptobridge or Bit-z. But I heard that there are fake volumes on Bit-z.

Can u give us some more info about the source of this fake volumes?

I really don't think that Asian market needs to do any fake volumes. Grin

They have a new feature about "textcoins" to send somebody soem coins via whatsapp or mail, even if they don't have a wallet yet.
Sounds very nice and useful, is something like that possible / programmable with bitcore?
