Bitcore Core 0.15.0.2 Official Release

Dear Bitcore community,

Christian has finished his final works on the latest Core version for Bitcore-QT.
You can download the latest update for Windows, OSX and Linux from Github:
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases

Important: Before updating, always make sure to backup your wallet.dat and private keys!

Thanks to the new Chainstate-Database the blockchain size is now reduced even further. We are below 300 MB again!
Also starting-up the Bitcore Core 0.15 will be much faster than the previous Core 0.14.

Note: On first startup the old blockchain will be converted. This may take up to a few minutes.

Please retweet: https://twitter.com/Bitcore_BTX/status/962748914725261313

Our first mining-pool OMEGAPOOL.CC is already running with core 0.15.0.2 - We hope other pools will follow soon.

It is very strange to think of investing all your savings in something you do not know.  Shocked

I'm newbie in crypto currencies and exchange trading. Around TV on blogs, in Youtube, everywhere you can hear about big benefits where you can invest money, at the end of last year it was a lift, I found Bitcore, read about it, thought, and I liked it so much that the entire amount of my investment was invested in it, then I kept them on my wallet for AIRDRIP...

How did you find out that this is the address of who stole you?
1NcM9ueDoL8eqqFHCFio9gmn4Bhn1cJE28

On the page chainz.cryptoid.info all transactions are visible, who sent where, see for yourself! And there you can see that the transactions at one point in time off block number 127251 with my money went to one address, this is the address 1NcM9ueDoL8eqqFHCFio9gmn4Bhn1cJE28, undoubtedly behind this address is the person who is a thief, he also registered for AIRDROP !!!!

What happened to you was terrible.
but I see that you are a smart person.
You are a newbie in crypto, as you wrote:
"I'm newbie in crypto currencies and exchange trading."
But you already show mining knowledge, as you wrote:
"... Antiviruses as usual cursed for programs for mining that are downloaded from official sources (minergate, NiceHash Miner)"
And you can already teach me how to track submissions to addresses, as you wrote:
"On the page chainz.cryptoid.info all transactions are visible, who sent you, see for yourself!"
You learn very fast. This is amazing!
So I'm sure you will quickly recover from this unfortunate event.

Thanks for the support, yes, I'm learning very quickly, and in fact mining is very easy, only the appropriate computer equipment is needed, my earnings from BTX mining on my equipment can be 0.01 BTX per day, I have a weak computer, I refusal of this... I tried to use the computer at work but there it is impossible to use it much, it's also not an variant...
For the last time I really had to learn a lot about crypto-currencies and much as it is arranged, this was a forced event, before the robbery, I was just interested in how the user what kind of coin could be the best for the investment and I chose BTX!!! Robbery brought me really big problems of life because I thoughtlessly put all my money into my BTX, and everything was fine until the robbery... next much has become bad...

Oh, yes, it must have been too bad for you.
Now you must take care with a technique called social engineering.
This is used to confuse people using fantastic and false stories to deceive innocent people.
Be very careful with that!

From the moment you start holding crypto then your security policies must not be taken lightly. Most of the airdrops are ran by malicious devs who only want peoples' data and they target those with some balance more with frequent emails. Question every email and verify authenticity, even your friend could steal your crypto so it's also important to keep some things private. People are being robbed at gun point, so be safe and protect your assets.

There are simple rules of safety which must be adhered to, encrypt the wallet, store a copy of the wallet on the cloud storage service, use the antivirus and firewall!!! Do not tell anyone your passwords and private key!!!

Hello,
I just made a Youtube video showing how to get the weekly airdrops. My target are newbies and most people that have lost money to scams and lending platforms because a lot of them are from third world countries. They rely on weekly payouts and sometimes are not able to differentiate between real and fake projects. I believe that Bitcore should be a gateway for these people getting into crypto after getting their Bitcoin instead of scams. Feel free to share it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcJTpbv9DVE

Greetings from a new holder.

I've got my wallet sorted and registered etc.

But, I do have a question due to seeing a guy on here was hacked and his Bitcore stolen. If I encrypt my wallet after I registered, would it affect the airdrops getting through (excuse my ignorance I'm a total noob to this kind of techie stuff)?

I was hacked and the thief is now using my money to earn income from the Airdrop, my advice to everyone is to encrypt the wallet, store a copy of the wallet on the cloud storage service, use the antivirus and firewall!!! Do not tell anyone your passwords and private key!!!
Definitely there are people who want to steal your BTX, do not give them any more chance!!!

At what point is it worth gathering the strength of our community and focusing on growing to more exchanges? Wait until airdrop ends?

e.g. the following have open votes:
https://feedback.coinfalcon.com/coin-request/
http://eucoin.io/
https://bitindia.co/vote.html
https://cobinhood.canny.io/token-listing

Correct me if i am wrong, so when i buy BTX, deposit it to the desktop wallet, register account on " https://bitcore.cc " to get 6% weekly and deposit BTX from desktop wallet to coinomi wallet on the phone which is not registered in the " https://bitcore.cc ", i will get the 6% on the coinomi wallet or desktop? Or maybe i wont get them at all?

Thnx for your answer!

You won’t get them at all.
They have to be at the registered address, when the blockchain snapshot is taken each Monday.
Before the actual airdrop.

No, it won't affect the airdrop. It's even highly advised to encrypt your wallet.

Thanks, that was my preferred option.
