Hi all, quick question. If I input my priv. key. to my BitCore Core wallet, there is a risk to my BTX I already have in the core wallet?
Your coins are stored on the BTX blockchain, not in your wallet, so as long as you have your private keys written somewhere and hidden in a safe place, there is no risk to your coins even if you delete your bitcore wallet completely. If you don't want to risk anything or don't have the keys. just back up your wallet. This is a good practice anyway.
I think he is worried about the fact that he is exposing his private key by importing/pasting it in the qt wallet.

As long as you are not using a public computer, and you are confident that you are not infected by any spyware/keylogger/screen grabber, etc, then you should be fine.
BTW, message signing works even if you are offline. If ever the PC you are using is infected, it cant transmit your private keys when its offline.
Once its signed, you can even erase all the files in your %AppData%/Bitcore.
