Bitcore (BTX) - The Future is Now
So all this trash your talking above poster and you couldnt even comment or answer the main point???

HERE IT IS AGAIN:

So to my understanding,  98% of the free BTX that was given to BTC holders have not been claimed and they can be claimed any time in the future?

EVERYONE PLEASE COMMENT.

Is there any way to disable this feature now?   This is like giving your competition tools to destroy you.

Everything you post screams noob...and shows you barely know what's going on .
BCH BTG other forks work exactly the same way, stop posting bs.

seems like I am getting attacked because what I say is true and you can not rebuttal me?Huh\
I've been in Bitcoin before you and most other masses heard about it.

BTG and Diamond and all the other BS that are coming out......people who got it for free.....we all know what happens.

Now is there any way to disable this at this time?   Many months is a long time to claim it.
Come on little one...
You are asking if it's possible to disable this feature, talking about transactions written to the blockchain. That's no feature, that's how a blockchain works. It's just ridiculous. And it's just about one month since the snapshot has been taken on 03.11.2017
And whilst you don't understand how a blockchain works you want to tell others you were long in the game before they started? Really? If you're so long in cryptos I really don't get you didn't learn the fundamentals how a blockchain basing on bitcoins works.
At least I have to ask you, are you aware that there's another exchange trading BTX havin five times the volume of cryptopia? So most of the times cryptopia is not setting the marketprice?
And please, please, please tell me one time on which grounds you mean to have identified a single entity who is selling on cryptopia. Why do you think it's coming from the same entity?

I see nothing strange in that list. Some claimed their BTX, and the majority didnt. They dont care or dont know..

I dont understand your point. Trying to spread FUD?

I don't think he's trying to spread FUD, he's stating facts and the fact is that these people are those who would not like any other coin better than their BTC so do you understand why they are claiming and dumping? And don't say we shouldn't care what they do with their coin, we do care because it's disrespectful and hurtful. This distribution should have been well thought about.

Not trying to spread FUD.  Censorship is bad. We discuss all issues openly.

To bad you weren’t around, when it was voted on here on bitcointalk.
Your opinion would have been highly valued then Wink

Yeaaa, no. Your a fudster.
Or your someone who went all in with a lot of money, in tech that he clearly doesn’t understand.
Either way Not to be taken seriously, if you’re even asking theese questions.

The coin price is low, I am happy to keep mine BTX. The difficulty is low now, and the reward is also good.

this is what i'm saying THEY CAN'T CLAIM THEM the wallet doesn't even recognize SegWit addresses +highly questionable as does the wallet report private keys to dev? :\ hmmm

Seeing the author of this comment, I'm sure it's just nonsense, but I'd still want to hear someone from the dev team comment on this specific claim, above.

Thanks
[/quote]

this is what i'm saying we have the lead bitcoin slack group and both the btx dev&promoter joined then mysteriously disappeared whearas emc2 , flo, trumpcoin.. devs are still partying :\ very odd<<

Who disappeared?  How long?

"And so did all of the other existing btc addresses that had 0,01 btc or more in them.
Transactions are already sent out to corresponding addresses. There is nothing to stop, or any deadline to pass."

So even months or years down the road, Rodger and Satoshi can come and claim their free BTX and dump on the price if they wish?  That was not smart move.  German IQ is much better then that.  Should have been limit to claim.  Most people dump their free coins, esp if its competing.

If you want to know what BTC whales are doing with their snapshots just look here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/tx.dws?148418.htm
It's not that the blockchain is a secret Smiley

Hey minestro,

Are these all the BTC addresses that got free 0.5BTX on the Nov 2 snapshot?
It's the top 346 addresses, the next 350 can be found here
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/tx.dws?148419.htm
The rest is easy to find around the blocks following block 77066. You can easily spot the right ones or go some pages back to the posts of 03/11 and you will find the transaction # posted by the devs.

Interesting stuff minestro! thanks.

If I get that right, within these 2 pages (697 addresses in total), only 12 redeemed their free BTX. That's less than 2%. That's just making my argument on one of my previous post even stronger that most of these 8M coins from the virtual fork will stay dead in the blockchain and will never circulate. And so far the ones that circulated were dumped for immediate profit!

Since there are only 12 addresses, I checked all of them and 100% of them took all their BTX out of their wallet. It's probably safe to say that they sold their BTX to run with their free cash without even knowing what is Bitcore. FREE MONEY IS FREE MONEY!

Here is summary

Page 1 - Richest 1-346 addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/tx.dws?148418.htm
#50 - sold 11003 BTX on Nov 17
#173 - sold 3000 BTX on Dec 4
#184 - sold 11407 BTX on Nov 3
#287 - sold 2178 BTX on Dec 5
#315 - sold 2000 BTX on Nov 17

Page 2 - Next 350 richest addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/tx.dws?148419.htm
#59 - sold 10969 BTX on Nov 3
#105 - sold 1399 BTX on Nov 15
#131 - sold 1305 BTX on Nov 15
#177 - sold 1198 BTX on Dec 4
#192 - sold 1160 BTX on Nov 19
#234 - sold 1050 BTX on Nov 26
#253 - sold 1023 BTX on Nov 21

These 697 richest addresses that got free BTX dumped a total of 36,689 BTX. This dump might have had a small impact on the price, but since this is relatively small volume, I don't think it explains the recent drop.

Thank god that only 2% sold their FREE BTX, because if 50% of them would have dumped their BTX, the price would be close to record low today!

Not trying to spread FUD or bash on Bitcore, but as an early investor into this project, I would really like to hear what the dev team has to say about the virtual fork goal and how they intend to manage this going forward.

Back in October, I voted for the distribution model we have, but I clearly misunderstood the goal of this virtual fork!

"That's just making my argument on one of my previous post even stronger that most of these 8M coins from the virtual fork will stay dead in the blockchain and will never circulate. And so far the ones that circulated were dumped for immediate profit! "

What was ur earlier argument?  Link pls

So what is the real amount of circulating supply?  Maybe that is why CMC will not fix the number.  They raised it a bit recently.

I do not like ANY suspicious activity.  Would be really nice to hear from the devs.  They can not be soooo busy to not even comment.  Sooo busy selling maybe?  Not trying to FUD.  I want to know why there is soooo much dumping. Nothing left to dump on soon

That POS is dumping it each time the price goes up a bit and then pushing it down by selling into buy orders.  It could only be an insider/early big whale or hacker.   It could only be them.....here is an example of just a small bit of recent sales this past minute.  After it touched 150000sats

This distribution should have been well thought about.

reporting privkeys to devs?? thats crap! stop with the nonsense PLEASE.

It was stated in many other forks... empty your wallet before claiming with privkeys. So you can be cool, paranoid!

So most of the rich list got a single transaction from #1?Huh?  Doesnt look good.

Am I the only dumbass who went all in on this coin with a lot of money?

Regarding the free coins for BTC holders.  That should stop immediately if not already.  The ones who knew about it and were eligible should have gotten theirs by now.  Deadline should be passed for competing coins.  I had BTC and was eligible but did not bother, just bought with real money.

Why should we give people who wont respect and value BTX coins for free when they will sell it instantly and hurt all of us

Yes, all the btc rich list got a single transaction from #1.

And so did all of the other existing btc addresses that had 0,01 btc or more in them.
Transactions are already sent out to corresponding addresses. There is nothing to stop, or any deadline to pass.
So if you “had btc and was eligible” at the time, even you can claim your free btx Wink

Some research and some due diligence about your investment,  and you would have already known this
If you “went all in on this coin with a lot of money” and didn’t know all this. Then “Dumbass” doesn’t quite adequately describe it, IMHO.

I know the idea has been floated but I want to ask again any way we can market this coin to the masses? Seeing that 200k transactions are unconfirmed for Bitcoin Core sends a bad message to those who are trying to be confident in Bitcoin.

Because Bitcore can handle so many transactions why are we not getting this message out to the world? It seems like that alone would help Bitcore get out of this rut, just a thought I had given all this congestion.

Majority of transaction of all crypto is used for speculation.  BTX commerce transactions must prevalate. This is the best way to market this coin to the masses.
