Hi, i saw somewhere btx listed in hitbtc and landed to this post.
i also read the first post but i am one of those who don't want to download 145gb of blockchain and want an easier way of claiming BTX.
I had more btc on the fork date but i was using multibit hd which doesn't give you access to private keys.
Later i switched to electrum but then i had few btc. Still i would like to claim btx for those btc i have private keys of.
Is there an easier way to claim btx from btc ?

The Btx blockchain is only about 400mb. It's a virtual fork. Doesn't have the whole blockchain history.

the balance goes to 0, but I was told in the web chat that it did not matter, since they look at all your dirreciones without having to put them all in the airdrop.and obviously they are not all 0 ...

You have to place all of your coins in 1 address and then you have to register that address at www.bitcore.cc. Only registered addresses with BTX in them will receive airdrops. If your registered address has 0 BTX, then you will receive 0 airdrop.
