Did anyone see an announcement from HitBTC regarding Bitcore? I can't see anything in their news/blog... strange.

--ypsi
I think Hitbtc will add this news as a fact only. No announces but just like "We have added BTC/BTX so enjoy now Smiley"

I want to say that only a week ago on Cryptopia was big dump and price was about 75k sat so it was more interesting just to invest in btx than mining. Ofcourse now I have ~2,5btx from 270Mh and it's very profitable. It was just a discussion between invest or mine a few days ago. The best is both ways I think Smiley

Hey,

I'm new here and new to Bitcore Smiley
I have a question: I registered my Bitcore Address for the Airdrop two weeks ago. (Think one day before the airdrop.) But I don't get any coins. I've tried it last week again (with a new address) and it still don't work. This week the same. I've read all the instructions and don't know what I've done wrong. All my addresses where listed in the register list.
Would be great if someone could help me! Thanks!

If you had registered addresses and got nothing you didn't put any coins in your empty wallet.

Over 50% trading volume of over 3M USD compare to BCH and #2 most active on Bit-Z today, when will we cross over?

This volumes looks strange at least.

Today there are 23377 registered BitCore addresses it growing it is momentum guys, I have a feeling that's telling me this can be huge.

Peace
More people - more faster this airdrops ends. It is very sad, and which prise will after distribution over - i don't know, im afraid it goes to dump fast... I hope i wrong, because this coin is great and i like it, using my videocard for mining now, today our pool was very lucky, i got x2 more than my usually rewards)

Actually, it is quite the opposite the way I see it. The quicker these coins are distributed the better for the project. There will of course be a short term dump directly after the airdrops end but then any extra value we add to the project will probably lead to significantly greater price movements. Basically, right now Bitcore is increasing in price despite the airdrops and not necessarily because of them. That is just my opinion of course.

Now 23703 registered addresses Good we are growing momentum Welcome!

Okay 4 GTX 1060 ... 58 mh and 650 w  so for 270 mh you need 16 video cards evrey one is around 400 usd  ( 6400$ ) and 2600W electricity for 16 cidwo cards.

So it isn't possible to mine BTX with a Dell XPS?

If you are talking CPU mining.  No.  Its not profitable.  You need a high end GPU.  Nvidia is the best..  Just think GTX is best for BTX.

But my XPS has Nvidia drivers.

I just finished posting the following comment on Crypto Lark's Youtube page. He was talking about the battle for dominance between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash and how Litecoin might see some major growth next year. Here is the comment that I posted:

You're forgetting about a coin that totally destroys Bitcoin Cash in every way, Bitcore (BTX). Bitcore is a Bitcoin fork that launched in April and has been slowly building a fantastic community, the right way. Bitcore hasn't been trying to undermine the crypto space due to excessive greed like that which surrounds the Bitcoin Cash community and its leaders.

Bitcore is not only faster than Bitcoin Cash, at 20 MB blocksize Bitcore absolutely destroys Bitcoin Cash. Bitcore also has Segwit and Bloom activated and here's the biggest advantage of Bitcore...price!!! Bitcore is currently trading around the $15 mark. It was around $2 in September. Would you rather drop $1300 on an obsolete Bitcoin Cash or buy a $15 Bitcore coin with the best growth yet to come?

Every Monday Bitcore has an airdrop. All you need to do is download the wallet, buy some Bitcore from exchange and transfer them to your wallet. During the month of November, you will receive a 3% airdrop directly into your wallet. In December the airdrop will increase to 4% airdrop every Monday. In January the airdrop will increase to 5% every Monday. In February it will increase to 6% every Monday and it will continue increasing by 1% every month until all of the coins have been distributed.

- BitCore BTX Specs
- 21 Million Coin
- 10 min Blocktime later 2,5 min
- DefaultPort = 8555 - RPC 40332
- Halving from BTC Block 462987 = BTX Block 1
- Segwit and Bloom online
- Core 0.14
- 20 MB Blocksize (10 MB + 10 MB Segwit)
- Algo Timetravel10
- Diff Retarget: Bitcore 64_15
- halving interval like BTC 1:1 BTX start with 12.5 BTC per block

Why waste your money on a Bitcoin Cash that is slower and only has 8 MB vs 20 MB blocksize of Bitcore? Not only that, Bitcore has Segwit and Bloom already online. Here's the biggest clincher, Bitcore will be a top 100 coin as soon as Coin Market Cap updates the correct numbers and that will explode the price. Stop messing around with Bitcoin Cash, which is already obsolete when compared to Bitcore. Be smart with your money and go with Bitcore.

Feel free to take as much or as little and post it where you see Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash or even Litecoin being discussed. This should get people talking about Bitcore and once they realize that we're a much better coin, the community should benefit as a result.

so are we a fork or not? Our ANN says Virtual Fork. We dont use the original BTC blockchain. The snapshot is only used to initially distribute coins. Our blockchain is quite SMALLER, and faster to sync.

It is a virtual fork. We actually created a new chain so our blockchain stays super-tiny with currently less than 400 MB, but we also copied over 5 million balances from the Bitcoin chain to the Bitcore chain (0.5 BTX : 1.0 BTC).

See https://steemit.com/crypto-news/@xwerk/bitcore-btx-guide-the-2nd-snapshot-for-btc-hodlers-free-btx-or-how-it-works for more info

Thanks for the clarification!

I see that the algo for this coin is TimeTravel 10.. Is there any way to rent hashing power to mine BTX? I can't find the algo on either miningrigrentals or nicehash.. Cheesy
Why not just buy BTX on the exchange?

I like mining Cheesy

Than why not to create a rig? Smiley
The fact is that for last 24 hours 270Mh can give you only about 2.7 coins BTX.
Month earlier it was twice more so maybe better way is just invest this coin before price is affordable.

A month ago the price of BTX was 5.50-6.  more than double now, yes difficulty has gone UP but youre crazy if you don't think 2.7 BTX in 1 day at current price of $16.50 is not profitable, do that math.....
