Ok, so  I have read back a few pages but I'm still a little confused here.
I've signed a message and successfully registered my btx addy from my currently empty
newly installed Coinomi wallet. I hear theres a weekly airdrop? Not sure what other
requirement(s) I need to fulfill to be eligible.
is it at least 1 btx coin in wallet?
I'm not crazy about the idea of signing messages for all my btc addys. (like byteball)  PITA!!!

thanx

edit....ok nm.   found the link

How to type your sign message from wallet in the registration form?

[/hr]

A bit confused here: it says that "ENTER YOUR SIGN MESSAGE WITH THE TEXT "AIRDROP" https://bitcore.cc/airdrop.php page.
In the instructions where Sign Message is done in BitCore QT, it indicates enter "Airdrop" in the textarea. After clicking sign message button, the code generated doesn't have "AIRDROP" word. So do I enter "AIRDROP" after the generated code in https://bitcore.cc/airdrop.php page?

Ha!  I was kinda in that same boat. no you do not (at least i didn't.  i just pasted in the outputted code only )

Will there be any way to claim my BTX without the need to export and import by BTC private key? I use Trezor as a hardware wallet and Bitcoin is not the only currency for which my Trezor / private key is being used. I have multiplie ETH wallets on it and also ZEC.

I hope you will offer a claiming service like you did for the first snapshot.

Bitcore is now #63 on CoinMarketCap.com  Shocked We're going all the way  Cheesy

Maybe it can go up to the top 20 if the dev is going to promote it to big market, that's enough to make BTX to the top position.

HELP - what to do next to get the 10/30 transaction and be ready for tomorrow?
You must register your BTX Wallet to receive Airdrop's after the 30 October 2017
I think you loose your 25% Airdrop from 30.10.2017 when you not registered your Wallet before.

10% to the dev's definitely sounds like way to much. Thats 1.6 milion coins.
Remember there was an uproar in the btcgold community, when the devs where talking about keeping 2% = 200000 of the coins? Btcgold has now changed that to a 100000 timelocked coins instead. Which went over much better with the community.
How supported do you think this coin will be, when the devs are sitting on 1600000 coins?
Concerned top 200 address owner and investor here.

I am a new member of the team that hasn't officially been announced yet but I now handle most things related to the business development of the Bitcore project. The 10% that is allocated to the development fund will be used to further Bitcore in every way with a small portion of it being used as compensation for our continued hard work. I can tell you that listing fees on exchanges, integration into payment processor platforms, and any other fees/cost associated with development are not cheap at all. I am not at liberty to disclose these fees but they would probably astound you if I did disclose them. The 10% we have taken for the development fund seems very fair and if you look at other coins we are right in line with many of them. The Zcash development team takes 20% of the mining reward in the first 4 years and then 10% moving forward. Even with Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto has an estimated 980,000 BTC that was mined in the beginning. The reality is that if you, basically the community, wants us to become one of the major market players then we need the funds to be able to do so. I cannot talk about future community support for the coin since that is very speculative in nature. However, I can tell you that we are all trying our best to make this project the best it can be. I hope this answers your questions and puts things in perspective. Have a great day!

It`s not so my business do discuss that but i think that %10 is fair for a hardworking professional team. Keep the great job!

how do I import an address from paper wallet to teh bitcore-qt wallet so I can sign a message to sign up for hte airdrops? I dont see how to import an address
For your Security of your BTC make sure to move your Bitcoin to a new address where you control the private key, before using the "old" private key for your Bitcore.

1. Start Bitcore QT.
2. As soon as your wallet has been synced go to Help->Debug Window
3. Select Console
4. If your wallet is encrypted it must be unlocked first. Enter "walletpassphrase [yourpassphrase] 600" (without the "" and without [ ])
5. Now you are ready to import your private key. Enter "importprivkey [yourbitcoinprivkey]"  (without the "" and without [ ]). Make sure there are no spaces in your private key.

Done! Your wallet should now contain 1/2 the amount of Bitcore you had in Bitcoin!

Bitcore (BTX) - The Future is Now
ATTENTION bitcore COMMUNITY: REQUEST TO ADD TO POLO & KUCOIN

we can use everyone help to get listed on Poloniex and KuCoin!  please fill out this form ( only takes about 3 minutes)

https://m.poloniex.com/coinRequest
http://kucoinform.mikecrm.com/tAssDWK

here are just a few things you can add:

1: Bitcore has 10 MB blocks with Segwit enabled which allows for the network to handle about 17.6 billion transactions per year, that is an entire years worth of Bitcoin transactions in 3 days.

2: unique  asic resistant pow algorithm Timetravel10

3: unique difficult adjustment called 64_15 that ensures that there is no more than a 15 percent change in difficulty within a 64 block period.

Thanks, biran!

We are working hard to get BTX listed on more and greater exchanges. However everything takes time and a lot effort (unless you just dump sever $100ks on them).
So in the meantime please help us by filling out this form. Only takes 3 - 5 minutes.

Here are some links you may need.

IMHO , 1.6 Million BTX will be too much or too few will solely depend on where these BTX is going to be used ... If there is a clear information and goal/progress of the fund , I think nobody that truly support this project will have further more questions ...

Thanx for the quick answer, i appreciate it.
Just wanted to let you know how It could be percieved by potential investors looking in. Especially when there are 2-3 pictures of rockets and airplanes on every other page, instead of technical discussions or roadmaps. I know everything takes time, and we are still early in development and distribution. Just felt that i needed to voice these concerns, to make sure we are on top of everything, and that the community and everybodys investment is protected and nurtured to grow Wink

And like oskarwu said. As long as there is a clear and transparent roadmap for the goal/progress of the project and the support fund ("support fund" actually sounded a bit nicer than "dev funds"). Then i think the community can relax and enjoy the ride.
Hopefully the coming news and information in the next few weeks will be positive, and put everybodys concerns at ease.
