yes, you have to prove ownership by signing - thats the whole point, else anyone could claim any BTC address they happen to know.
Without reading countless pages of the thread I can't understand now if the signing of the address has already been implemented as a mandatory rule ro continue to get the airdrop...
No, this rule has not yet been introduced. Probably it will be soon. Thank you for the answer, but I think I have to proove, that I am the owner of the Btc which are snaphoted a few months ago (they where on the lykkewallet)...

Airdrops are currently ongoing at 3% with a big one to come at the months end. That can likely be found in the OP and by scrolling back 1-2 pages of this ann. As far as I know there arent any bounty
currently but I could be wrong on this. I see a few people having bitcore signs but again as far as I know or recall those were voluntarily put up and not a paid bounty. Enjoy sir

Seeing how other coins develop (or try to).. i´m liking Bitcore more everyday
I dont like the idea of "free money giveaways".. but i see them as a need to distribute the coins among investors, or a publicity cost. We will see how this develops once airdrops ends.
I like the work devs are doing. Again, seeing other coins (wallet stability & coin speed, perfectly timed and transparent airdrops, public relations, community...), i see a bright future for BTX.
Only the big final airdrop still concerns me. Time will tell

Bitcore coin idea is more of a proof of stake and you are rewarded for believing in the project, the team has a tract record of staying and developing the project they are working on, but I don;t like the idea of bashing other project before you even see what they want to deliver, Bitcoin Gold is not asking for money or doing any ICO so give them a chance

I am looking for some help in claiming my BTX, as I have tried a few things and none worked. Situation: I had BTC in my Electrum wallet during the april snapshot. Signing in Electrum is straight forward and not a problem at all normally - and in fact I have done that a number of times in the past without any issues.
This time around however, whenever I try to sign the message, I get an error "Cannot sign messages with this type of address".
Has anyone experienced something similar and give me a tip how to solve it? Much appreciated...!
