I have a mining question. I looked at the Altcoin Mining subforum, but didn't see any answer. Can I use a jalapeno asic miner for Bitcore mining? I have two gpus on yiimp, but I was wondering if I could also use my jalapeno. Thanks in advance.
All ASIC's are designed for specific algorithms. BitCore use ASIC-resistant algorithm. The answer is NO .
You can mine only those algorithms that your jalapeno asic miner supports.
And timetravel10 is not in the list.

are u guys also doing the math and thinkin about the potential profit?
for example: 500 btx now are 500*1.03^8 = 633 till final airdrop
final airdrop( or lets hope airdrops ^^) will multiply your coins with about 20 at that point:
633*20 are about 12500.
Maybe the price before the final airdrops is much higher than now because of massive Fomo ^^
and then it crushes down to lets say 5 dollar were we are now.
BOOM 62500 $ baby.
And maybe then its just the start. I mean bitcoin cash has no real life uses and zero advantages to btx.
and the marcet cap is 10 billion.
I really think this coin can get huge but we have to spread the word.

It's backup n running. According to OCMiner, pool was down for maintenance. That said; I did not see any info about it on twitter nor anywhere else.

Wow BTX seems to really be coming into it's own the last few days. Kudos to those making it ALL happen. 
As far as I understood the marketing only just started.
I'd guess with some substantial statements other than "3%" or "to the moon" but with a view of its possibilities, this project still is in its beginning stage.

It's an artificial pump so money can be made. Don't buy into it hitting the moon right now. When prices skyrocket for no reason be very wary. Same with regular stocks. Nothing new with BTX, no milestones, nada, yet it's skyrocketing? Artificial. You'll see

- the final airdrop is coming closer
- its starting to get more and more attention in general
- and it got listed on a new exchange(even though it is a small one ) a few hours ago along with the push
i watched the push some guys threw 3 btc at it to get from .0007 to 0.001 i assume that these guys are some of the big btx holders who want the price to go up till november not just pump and dump. Dont think that we see 60000 sat again
But i also could be wrong one way or another i will just hodl on to my coins and get my 3 %

They really need to change the ticker symbol on C-Cex though because it is listed as BTXC.

Well I didn't mean in a direct sense that it is driving up the price but just that the news of getting on another exchange can make others want to load up on more BTX.
Yesterday's pump was crazy! BTX has a chance to hit $10 with the next pump. Most people are going to hodl to get the weekly 3%, so even it there is some type of sell off after the pump, the majority are going to hodl their coins, so the price shouldn't drop off too much even after some people sell their coins.
