I hope there won't be a massive airdrop in november, it's better to keep it slow and distribute it gradually, public interest will go down once there are no more distributions also price will be dumped too hard (which creates fud by itself)

I suppose there are other possible solutions as well. I am more for sticking with the November 2nd date but they can increase the percentage of weekly distributions so that the airdrops will still be finished roughly as scheduled but it will be more gradual than just dropping all of it at the end. I think the sooner the air drops happen the better so that more important things can be done.
It's the right idea. I think devs need to cancel the final airdrop, but increase the weekly percentage. This will reduce the likelihood of a sharp dump and attract investors and speculators. The price should go up after such a decision. It was already when there was 2.5btx + 2.5% - price 0.00145.

Not feeling an everlasting airdrop tbh, kinda looking forward to november to move on and go through new developments.

Would be nice to drop to exchange addresses in the near future, Bittrex, some asian exchanges etc
You can easily reach 50k users if you can set this up with just a few exchanges. We could start if off with cryptopia, i think they have around 25k+ users as well.

What's the word on binance by the way?

I heard that one of the Developers has some problem with his health  Sad ( I wish him to be well, by the way) and that it why the last airdrop of 3% was delayed  and that is why we may have some silence from the Dev team. I guess soon things will be sorted out.

I think that something should be done about final airdrop rule as well, in order to avoid massive dump on markets!
but, I believe if the rules of the final airdrop will be changed drastically, then it would  dump the price as well!
so DEV team should think very well and choose wise which decision to take

it like red and blue pill Neo ))
By the way, you are the only one who wished the devs health. Everyone is busy only with their money. I am ashamed of myself.

I don't think there is any problem with the large November 2nd distribution but it needs to fulfill its purpose and create a lot of buzz. This is one of the best coins for scaling into true everyday usage because of the amount of transactions it can theoretically handle. I also like that it is mined by GPU so that you don't have to deal with China for ASICS.

How can you say it wont be a problem? The first thing I think of is instant massive dumping and that will open. And then the price will tank, and people will wonder why. I would

have to agree that we make the distribution a bit more gradual as well , or change the rules in some order to prevent a massive dump-off. We dont want to see such an awesome

coin with potential die out because of something irrelevant now do we!?

If the coin is technologically strong and there are people that believe in this coin then such a dump only represents a massive opportunity and buyers would eventually bring the price back up. That being said, I don't think the introduction of that amount of currency will have a huge effect as long as demand has been built up by then. We need larger markets, more addresses, and some sort of integration into viable payment processes. I think a development roadmap is also absolutely needed for this because people like to see a glimpse of what the future holds. Most people don't operate solely based upon blind faith.

*edit* In addition to going after binance and bittrex we could also try to get listed on livecoin. There is a lot of volume over there and the more large exchanges the better. I don't think cryptopia is going to really be enough so we need to aim bigger.

Yes, you said correctly: "If there is high demand to that time ..." So I repeat, devs need to devote more time for marketing. It is possible to invest to this means. For example, some kind of bounty.

I heard they are thinking about changing the rules to prevent a massive drop at 2nd Nov?

Something like already distribute a part of it in October - is there something I have to consider?
Where you heard about changing the rules? Where I can read it?

Can we wait after Nov.2 for the final air drop and deadline for unclaimed BTX coins? the more BTX coins unclaimed the more cut for the current BTX holder gets after the lump sum of unclaimed coins divided minus 10% for dev. Then we surely will know that there is no dump going to happened if we as a community agreed to hold and raise the price.

I think its a good idea to change the rules. No need the massive dump after 2nd November. I think need distribute faster, but gradually.

byteball have also eased off on their distribution and it'll definitely make alot of sense in the long run.

with bitcore there's one hell of alot to distribute though. perhaps the best thing to do between now and november is try and make as many bitcoin holders aware of it as possible. maybe create a signature people can add that links directly to the distribution page.

i've seen it mentioned in a few big threads. the general opinion is that it ain't worth enough to bother doing.

Well the way i see it BTX has a more decentralized POW then regular BTC and on top of that its more advanced in terms of its tech capabilities... The only major differences are the quantity of developers working actively in each project, the quantity of businesses using and accepting it and, the last but not the least, public awareness...
