Is that all really legit? I mean if yes, then it’s like a dream come true. I hope I could use the platform to pursue a proper career as a freelancer, the main thing holding me back is lack of security in digital world

Exactly! Blockchain is what sets it apart. As an entrepreneur myself, one of the most important thing that matters to us is making more profit out of less money, hiring freelancers is one of the ways for that but normal transaction costs are annoying and heavy on the wallet. Use of crypto-currency and blockchain reduces that transaction cost substantially. I can’t wait to get started on GigTricks and further expand my business.

Well, besides the fact that it converges all the world’s entrepreneurs and freelancers at one point, it’s use of blockchain and decentralized system is what I think sets it all apart. I mean you don’t get that everywhere do you? Wink

But we already have freelance systems available online, what makes gigtricks better than those already established old ones?

So GigTricks has launched and soon enough the platform will start working on full blast. Honestly, in my opinion, a decentralized system that’s dedicated to the up and coming freelance economy is a huge step in further stabilizing the freelance way of life.

I'm impressed by the way you have justified gigtricks plan to penalize voters supporting wrong people. Smiley Thank you for sharing your thoughts it really does make sense now, and I think gigtricks dispute management game is many level up than existing platforms centralized approach.

Optimistic ! well i agree with you on many levels and would like to add a thing or two myself. If gigtricks will promise to incentive all voters then chances are many of them do not even bother to read the comments from both parties and will give vote without analyzing the situation just for the sake to be rewarded . But if they know tat they could be penalized for favoring an unethical party, then they will invest their time hearing to both party stories and then decide wisely Smiley

Dude I got a difference of opinion here, I don't think that its unfair to deduct money from the lost party favoring voters since it will make people aware that they cannot et away by favoring the wrong unfair party, so they shouldn't be unjust while casting their votes Smiley

that is pretty scarce of you to deduct some charges from the losing party voters made payment !! plus they won't even earn incentive

Hi, for incentivized voting once a dispute is initiated certain numbers of top performing buyers and sellers will be chosen randomly by the system from the voting pool who wishes to participate in the voting process in return for incentivized GigBit Tokens. Once the user accepts the request to vote he/she will submit his GigBit Tokens, which is equivalent to 0.25% of the disputed total order value, in GigTricks escrow until the resolution is made. After the consensus is achieved through the majority votes, then the system will pass the resolution in favor of the majority voters’ decision and these voters will get back their GigBit Tokens which was in escrow plus the incentive GigBit tokens they earn through the successful voting process. However, at the same time, the voters who voted for the other party will be penalized, and a percentage of GigBit Token from escrow will be deducted as penalty fees, and the remainder will be refunded to them. In case 51% of these voters who are penalized wish to re-initiate the voting process again, then the system will initiate the voting process again.

Do anyone here know how much voting fee will be charged by voters? Any fixed value?

oh guys i think gigtricks wants to makes sure that only serious people participate in the voting process that's why they will te,porarily store the charged fee to the escrow and return when the dispute is resolved

I don’t think that should be an obligation. Also, I distinctively remember the whitepaper mentioning something along the lines of user accepting the request to vote. So I think it’s up to the user to accept the request and then submitting their tokens, not an obligation.

Feelings are mutual. However, since we are discussing it, what is the voting process going to be like and is every one chosen to vote supposed to do that? Like is it an obligation?

Okay, seems understandable enough. I really think I should go through the whitepaper at least once. I’m still completely unaware of so many things GigTricks has to offer.

not true at all, gigtricks has already mentioned the criteria by which they are going to select the voters in their whitepaper you are just being a pessimist

Ah. I think that’s probably all selected people will be based on the number of Gigbit Tokens they purchased ... just a thought

well you are right partially that random voters will be selected but these selected people will also have the choice to either accept and participate in the voting process or simply reject the offer.
