Thanks andreibi. We definitely think so! There are so many bad coins and scams out there. Doing things right will be the key to our success. I definitely think we are on the right track -- the price and volume on Bittrex have been climbing today, with few very sellers.

Fortunately, and unfortunately, there haven't been any problems or drama with our coin. That means that everything has gone according to our plan, with a perfect launch and zero blockchain problems because of our reliable code and seed node infrastructure. But, the unfortunate part is that a lack of drama makes for a very quiet thread here, so we haven't been hearing as much from the community!

We would love to hear more from everyone here about things you would like to see MastiffCoin do in the future! We have a talented team in place and a large list of plans of our own that we are steadily working on, which we'll announce as they are ready. We haven't announced a lot of things yet because we don't believe in supporting wild price pumps on speculative news.

Just be transparent in everything. Post updates on progress. This coin will go places.

That's just an artifact of how all coin wallets handle transactions -- its called Change. Coin transactions consist of inputs and outputs; all coins in an input must be accounted for in an output. You can force transactions to come in and out of a single address using raw transactions, which is what we did initially to send the premine from the original premine wallet address to the current wallet; however, that is a very low-level process which is potentially prone to human error.

It is much better to just use the normal wallet for sending coins around than to rely on raw transactions, since even for experienced developers there is always a risk of human error. Of course, the coins are still trackable via the blockchain under any change addresses that the wallet uses.

The Windows wallet download is hosted on Amazon S3, which is extremely reliable. We aren't using questionable upload sites like Mega, like many scamcoins. Please also note our 100% clean VirusTotal, which is very rare for Windows wallets! Additionally, the Linux source compiles without any errors -- we have a number of professional developers on our team, and take pride in our work.

As far as an update on progress with things --

We are now almost done with two full days of mining! Remember that the regular mining period for proof-of-work (PoW) will last a total of 8 days, until we reach block 25000.

We have setup our official block explorer, at http://explorer.mastiffcoin.com. We recognize the importance of having a public, reliable record of the blockchain after seeing many coins released with huge instamines, hidden blocks, and other scams. We are dedicated to providing transparency and accountability.

Of course, we are also happy to add any other third party block explorers for MastiffCoin to the ANN post if anyone would like to contribute one; however, please note that we are unable to provide large bounties for basic Bitcoin-ABE block explorers -- anyone can set that up in a very short period and there is no guarantee you will continue to host it. If you can offer a more elaborate block explorer, we're certainly open to discussing a bounty for that.

As we've already mentioned previously, our team believes in doing things correctly and we are happy to offer as much transparency into the coin as possible, including a complete accounting of premine coins. For easier tracking of the premine coins, here's a brief history:

Block 1 had the premine coins (1% of total coins - 27068 MAST), and our primary developer's miner mined the following 6 blocks within a few seconds before he exited it, so for complete transparency we'll include those additional 6 blocks (1056 MAST) in the premine accounting.

The premine coins were initially mined to address 1B4jQYi83A7pcuH1nrxmfGVRik7FUjWfgk, then transferred to a wallet DTgAKVuzJcwk6LCUFff7Fxtg21vxpcuGPD for safe storage and distribution as necessary.

We've made two payments from the premine so far: 2500 MAST for our coin logo, and 250 for domain registration/website hosting. The current premine coin balance is 25373.999991 coins.
