Looking forward to the coming weeks/months with PEPE...
Look at that rise, slow and steady. No reason this coin can't sit at 10k comfortably, only 12mil in circulation too and it seems the hands are strong (thus far at least).
Love the marketing / promo behind it...it's actually DOING something to get noticed.

I had same problem. backuped wallet.dat, deleted everything in /roaming/PepeCoin
And then placed wallet.dat in new PepeCoin folder. Worked for me

Masternodes and smugsend dont start until April 14th. Run checkwallet in the console or from the command line run pepecoin-qt-r4 --salvagewallet
close wallet, and open again,
coin it's show on satke
now im stoped sumgsend, it's got stucking on stake
closed wallet, opened, still stucking on there.
add a file in C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\PepeCoin (may need to click View -> Hidden Items)
name it pepecoin.conf and add inside:
staking=0
and save ,relaunch wallet, wait about 15-20 minutes
Or you can encrypt the wallet with a password, relaunch, wait 15-20 minutes
