What is the "amount and rounds" thing in the wallet?  I sent some pepe to my wallet, and it gave me some free pepe.  I can't find any information on it, so just trying to get an understanding.

Have to agree with Pepe team. IRC can have !rain bots, price bots, etc. But of course I have seen bots that mirror all chat to slack, suck as in bittrex room, so you could do both. But what is the advantage of slack that I am missing over IRC?

Just post the IRC channel and I'll be there. I tried slack and just don't like it. It is the same thing as IRC but with avatars (big whoop) and you need invites and passwords for every channel, and then it is very difficult to see all your channels, the interface is clunky and HexChat is just so much better. No need to re-invent the wheel with prettier interface, but shittier interface.

You're obviously missing the point of the platform, but, to each their own.

Yea, perhaps we can do both IRC and slack. We find IRC is likely more accessible to our target audience, and will likely be used a lot more for it's convenience. Also, we have some bots we're in the process of placing in the IRC that will not function in slack.

could somebody help me?

Go to your console and do a "checkwallet".

Backup your wallet.dat,
Put it on a safe place, delete all content from PEPE folder. Let the wallet sync with a new wallet.dat, after it's done, put your old wallet.dat inside.
the good cmd to use for this issue is"pepecoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet"
now all is working fine
give the server/chan bro,i'm in Smiley
Glad to hear things worked out for you with that. Wallet issues can be stressful! Going to have our IRC up tonight, who's coming?

Skip IRC, set up a Slack channel and we'll get you integrated in SSN (shared slack network).

Tested transaction system again to and from exchange, all is working. Make sure you're on the new wallet and fully synced. Also, make sure the coins you are trying to send are fully confirmed.

we need pepe on the cloud  https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-blockchain-as-a-service-update-4/

Want to put your distributed ledger platform or value added service on Azure?

Check out the new process of making your services available in the ecosystem.

-ARM templates: Build an ARM template for the complete one click install of your service to run in Azure. Once completed, your template will show up with other community contributed templates.

-Use your ARM template to build a DevTest Labs artifact using a subset of your scripts.  Find additional documentation on GitHub.

-Look for the official launch of the Azure Blockchain Marketplace category. This is a more rigorous certification process, so make sure you have a stable release build of your service before you line up.

Blockchain and the whole ecosystem is a fast moving space. We look to make Microsoft Azure the absolute best place to develop, test and deploy distributed ledger applications in cloud, hybrid and local environments.

Just get the 4channers interested in it and boom, #moon

Why is every coin lately claiming or wanting to be on Azure. Pepe is going to be a hit like DOGE was. No reason to strive for silly things before the other roadmap stuff is done. Mine, trade, have fun!

Man, that POS hiccup worried me.  Past experience with alts has jaded me a bit and made me wary.  But the quick response and fix to the issue is making me a believer in this coin.  This ain't no pump and bail, these dudes are committed.  Kudos pepe team!

yeah, thanks for suggesting VirtualBox guys. But upon reading its manual, Mac El Capitan is labelled as "experimental".
I'm not so sure if I will install such.

Does anyone here tried using it on Mac?

Much as I badly want a wallet for my computer, I can't compile it as I'm not a programmer. Nevertheless, I will keep watching this thread for a Mac wallet.

cheers.

Encrypted Money, Baby!
I will reduce the posting of giveaways to the trollbox, now.
Mods: if you want me to delete the posts, please let me know and I'll do so.

You can always make a new thread purely for giveaway. It would help to promote PEPE for sure.
Those were the rules some time ago, dunno if it changed.
Yep, will do so when I'm planning the next giveaway. Smiley
Would be annoying to harm the project by contravening the rules by accident, so when another giveaway is planned (and doesn't happen in the trollbox), I will create a separate thread.

BitTyro: you could try VirtualBox (it might be available for Mac OS), and download an image from Microsoft. But I think you're right, it's a bit too much for just running a wallet. Why don't you just compile the source?
