PepeCoin Reborn Confirmation Update
Bittrex has approved our rename to PepeCoin, with the ticker set as PCOIN. We'll still work to be listed as PEPE on Bittrex but PCOIN is a good compromise and the deal we originally made.
The network has been upgraded to wallet version PepeCoin 2.0.2.2 64108-Release and the protocol version has been bumped so old wallets can no longer connect. Please upgrade ASAP, this is a mandatory upgrade. If you are still running on 2.0.1.1, you may need to resync the whole chain by deleting everything except your wallet.dat in the appdata folder.

Bittrex requires 1.5 BTC for any coin rename, with no exceptions. We tried to negotiate a lower price because the cost of BTC when we listed in March 2016 was around $300 and the MEME rebrand cost the dev team badly, but Bittrex is firm on it and we respect their rules.
We are raising the funds on Twitter @pepecoins, we are about 30% of the way, if you can contribute to the Bittrex shekel bag please join the telegram or see Twitter. Once we finish raising the funds we will be renamed to PepeCoin, as a new market, with fresh order books.
