I see there are some masternodes running already but they are not mentioned in the op. Could the team give some details about the rewards and how much is needed to run one please.
Masternodes are not running, they are disabled due to a security issue with masternodes. Something else is being worked on to fill their role.
I saw the nodes in the masternode tab and just assumed. Thanks for the info.

Oh man was this a good idea. Been asking for it since mid-March. Thought the period was too long, and too many coins. Very good move devs and now up is the only way to go. I support this move....not that it really matters but.....

Memetic Wallet Update r4
Mandatory Update!
This update changes the POW end block from 130,420 to 70,000, cutting the total coin count down by about 3 million. The exact counts will be in an ANN update later today.
The extended POW is hard on the market and there are only 1 or 2 miners that are only selling off. There were extended discussions in the Slack at http://slack.memeticproject.com and this is decided best for MEME.
Timelines and updates are on the way.
