Official fork height: 126,250. Pushing out to pool operators very shortly and updating github. QT Wallets and official announcement to follow this weekend (Saturday ish, USA-EASTERN time) with more news as well as the wallets themselves. The fork should happen around saturday just after teh announcement if we time this right, its hard to predict given the sways in difficulty (soon to be gone!).

I want to thank everyone for the continued support. We know the price is being manipulated + raped by multipools. We are actively working on defenses to thrwart these attacks (a highly improved KGW implementation for KittehCoin) as well as possibly moving up the blockfork if we need to. All this will be done in tight coordination with pool operators. Right now we are making sure KGW will solve our problems

So what exactly does forking early involve? A new client? I am just curious if the multipools would update or not, if they didn't would that cause them to miss the fork and keep the current version going?
Yes, just a client update.
& we don't care if MP update or not. In case they don't update; Only they will be on the wrong chain, but Everyone else [Kitteh Pool owners + Major Exchanges + Community] will be on the right chain, enjoying life while MPs waste their hash on the wrong fork.

Yeah trade is kinda stuck on same price...jsut multicoins dumping thought.
ya multipools keep dumping and fulfilling the buy orders. the price will rebound fairly quickly once they are out of the picture.
Once we hit the hard fork, multi-pools will be less inclined to hit KittehCoin as they are. The massive hashrate spikes we're seeing have driven some core miners away, the hard fork reduced block times and then we're looking at KGW which should solidify things quite a bit. Patience Kittehs
This and this! We are working hard to fight off the multipools, we are even spinning up cloud AWS instances to keep on mining when the multipools leave so we can get to that damn FORKBLOCK!!! Some reddit news:

Will the update / hard fork affect those who store a balance on an exchange? I had actually sold all my coins but bought back in on the strength of the KGW announcement alone. Thanks for the awesome dev work!

Not much mining going on, only multipools jumping in as soon as the Diff goes down 
Even trading seems to be halted with the price so low. Is this because of the weekend? At this rate I dont think we will hit the hardfork block this week. We really need to push this coin, get more miners and people interested in Kitteh. I have faith in this coin and its the only coin I'll be sticking with We just have to be patient, once we hit this hardfork block and the next one with the nice features coming Kitteh will be fine and stable again
