Is it just me or is this coin not very profitable to mine?  Even if price doubles after the fork it is not as profitable is doge.  Am I missing something?

Costs:
24 CPUs = $1.429per hour
24 CPUs x 5 droplets = $1.429 x 5 = $7.145per hour = 1mhash/s

~3.75 mh/s rig will cost you around 3000 USD, so in my opinion it's better to take credit with 16% , and buy your own rig.

Author should update that mining million's of doges or any other Decent coin, with 20 USD per day "Investment" is over!

This is very bad advertisement, whole idea is about how to rip off people that is new to mining ........

lol  Grin
What's the point for paying $3000 for dedicated mining rig if you could pay $10 per hour and dig out as much coins as you want in the early stage (first 24 hours when the diff level is low)?

Just taking random number of 20 day's mining:

480 hours x 7.15 USD = 3432 USD for 1Mh/s
3.75 Mh/s rig = 3000 USD

Leaving those 432 USD on electricity bill, which should be enough for powering such rig, for 20 day's.

P.S. Only can see "good side" of your services for 1 day miner's - thought even with that in mind the "Pay as you mine" price is still to high imo.

I'm not saying you are wrong but you are missing my point. For early adopters the more profitable way to jump in to altcoin will be paying for cloud servers where they can simply turn if off after spending just $30. Investing in cryptocurrencies involves an element of risk as you nobody can predict which coin makes us money Smiley

So as I say - for 1 day miner's yes/maybe. Otherwise get your own rig's.

Peace and good luck with your services -I really do hope you will make some1 rich Smiley

Edit - Original post edited as I do not intended to insult your services or your self as a person, just was trying to inform ppl about cost of having own rig.

Dev team should offer an award for best Kitteh vs. Doge meme of the week.
(To qualify you have to post your image and show that you've posted it on some other social media site.)

Getting that dynamic and competing with Doge is how Kitteh will expand and both will benefit.

The Crypto market is really more like surfing.  You have to move with it, and can't set hard and fast expectations.  I'm not worried in the slightest about Kitteh.  Good active communities and an intention beyond simple profitability are what will see this currency through.  I know that Kitteh is worth at least as much as Doge, and I don't intend to sell out any time soon.  The two currencies can in fact amplify one another through constructive mimetic competition.

I was with Doge when it first began, and sure it spiked initially on Cryptsy, but it tanked for what seemed a very VERY long time down near 0.00000027 after having been up above 0.0000033.  Media attention is what brought it back to its more substantial and generally stable levels, and the same will follow with Kitteh.  Social and cultural saturation are powerful forces and those are what this coin hopes to operate from.

If you only intend to dump the coin, do it now and let the truly committed and passionate community members raise Kitteh up to its proper standards.  The reality is that if all you are interested in is personal profit, with no other regard for the movement at large, then you only hurt what is a unique modern frontier.  You become no different fundamentally than the decadent members of world banking cartels and Wallstreet. And, i believe, you actually reduce your own long term outlook.

Also don't forget, Bitcoin is quickly becoming established in world economics.  All this has only barely launched!!!  It will not be long before you can use BTC for all those services and products you otherwise might use credit/debit for.  As that saturation occurs, the value will increase, and so will the Btc relative alts.  So here's an idea, start replacing fiat purchases with btc purchases.  Use Overstock.com and others who offer such payment systems--reward them and encourage the mainstream market; prove that these cryptos, while being initially volatile, CAN and will be used as true currencies as well as stores of value.

Sitting around staring moment to moment on trading values in fretting anxious anticipation is a road to nowhere; just as there are small waves within larger ones it is ok to take an expanded approach, and not merely jump at every shadow.

Anyway, be patient, be active, be measured, and have fun with it!!! Smiley

I just want to note, btw, that I am very impressed by the relaunch Dev team.  Good work, love your intention, and I'm excited about the future.  Thanks for putting so much personal effort into this.
