My advice is for everyone that is genuine in the Moon community to get onto Twitter - forget Facebook or many other outlets they are mostly useless noise -

I will tweet this if the community thinks that swisscex area  good alternative - does the community know anything about them:

wait cancel that - they don't list Quark at all very strange ?

http://bravenewcoin.com/price/price-index/

when you take the most obvious scams out - you don't list a top 10 crypto?

perhaps we can get Moon on one of the larger Chinese exchanges this would be beneficial -

but you guys should start to make a noise about this cryptsy issue  if you believe it is deliberate .

Regards.

Dear Mooncoin community,

It has been a bit a strange situation lately as the Mooncoin wallet has been offline on Cryptsy for quite some time now. The prices traded on our MOON/LTC market also differ from the ones on Cryptsy.

In this context I would like to ask if there currently is a problem with Mooncoin and if yes, how we can actively protect our customers.

We are currently reducing the number of coins in order to improve our service quality. Of course we would like coins which have an active community, a stable network and an acceptable trading activity. So we would be happy if the Mooncoin community might consider trading on our MOON/LTC market.

For coin-related technical matters: [email protected]

We have been operating for almost a year now without any major incidents and could serve Mooncoin as a stable trading platform.

I wish you all not only a great Sunday, but also a convenient flight to the moon.

Dear Swissex,

I've been asked by members of the Mooncoin community to also comment on the Cryptsy situation.

Crypty put several coins into maintenance over the last 2 months and has been completely unresponsive even to developer requests.
In the case of the Luckycoin that went into maintenance for no apparent reason more than 2 months ago now, not a single support ticket, email or private message has been answered. I have offered technical help with the wallet numerous times to speed up the resolution of whatever technical problem they have. Each and every message is just left unanswered and I have sent maybe 50 over the last two months.
This is extremely unprofessional.

So all in all no one really knows what's going on at Cryptsy, because anyone at Cryptsy just refuses to communicate, be it BigVern, BitJohn, Mullick, or whoever.

It looks like the Mooncoin is in a similar situation. So it is not a technical problem with the wallet or network but more a management problem at Cryptsy. I have recently done a source code review of the Mooncoin wallet and it is as good as the DOGE coin wallet some months back and it is in the process of being upgraded to a newer version.

Hello Andrea,

Thank you for contacting Cryptsy.

My apologies for the inconvenience. Our MOON wallet is still down for maintenance.
Our tier two team is working to get this wallet back online. Please bear with us, rest assured your coins are safe and that we are working 24/7 to get this wallet up and running again. Unfortunately there is no ETA as of now.

Thank you for your patience and have a great day!

I think that all are waiting for cryptsy...

So I ask in Cryptsy chat what's going on with the mooncoin wallet and when is it coming back online? Someone there says that the devs have left the coin so they guess never. In the meantime the price is going up on the Cryptsy exchange. Can anyone tell me what is actually going on. The coin seems to be trading on all exchanges like bleutrade and allcrypt with no problems, yet cryptsy claims wallet issues. Can anyone enlighten me on all this ? Are there still devs for the coin ?

First of all, trollboxes on any exchange are one of the worst sources of information you can have.

Second: who told that?

Third, Cryptsy seems to be the biggest problem with what is happening with Mooncoin at the moment, as they obviously don't want to cooperate with peme, who is Mooncoin's new dev. Mooncoin's legendary original creator deaconboogie unfortunately left the ship long ago. See here for more information: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9456299.
There has been a huge theft of many Mooncoins recently and it has to be found out how this was possible, as well as how to return the coins to their rightful owners. A big part of the problem is Cryptsy at the moment, because they don't communicate with the right people (peme). Titan, the dev of Luckycoin is involved in the investigations, but since it is a really difficult task, we all will have to be patient, until they have solid results.

If you'd like to know more, just check out the recent posts in this thread - or ask peme. He tried to get in contact with Cryptsy numerous times regarding the theft, but they don't answer, respectively seem to ignore his role as the new dev, which is slowing down the investigation and finding a solution significantly.
Thank you so much for your answer. As far as who told me that it was just some troll in the troll box. It lit up the whole troll box though and everyone started arguing about what is going on, that's why I decided to post my question here.  Thanks again for the answers, I have a bunch of moon I'm going to continue to hold and hope for the best. I can always trade on bleutrade with no problem till cryptsy gets their house in order.
