Yes a lot of crypto guys play LOL
Even Cobain is a big player
Why? Kinda decentralized league of legend too?

Well at the moment having a beautiful interface and a real time game like LoL is far out of our reach. However we certainly would be drawing some influence from the mathematics behind the game. We should do a Game night here or something.

Yea for sure, I suppose it's a good example of how something small and obscure can grow to be something so incredibly large. The unfortunate part was the implosion of gox.. many of us are still looking for answers there for sure. Any of you guys play league of legends by chance?

HAHA! yea, thankfully were actually building a system that mints cards to people who hold the coin. Please don't start some conspiracy.. were not mark karpeles lol.

In late 2006, programmer Jed McCaleb (eDonkey2000, Overnet1, Ripple) thought of building a website for users of the Magic: The Gathering Online service to let them trade cards like stocks. In January 2007, he purchased the domain name mtgox.com, short for "'Magic The Gathering Online' eXchange

Cool I like MAGIC !

A decentralized Magic wow cannot wait for play  Shocked

EXACTLY! no counterfeits, betting, trading and more. the app is really cool. We really can't wait to release it. Were not motivated by what the price is, we know it will catch on and go viral we are already working on our Chinese, Japanese and Korean translations.  These are the markets where the product will likely grow the most. Smart money seems to be interested.

It's really the nature of a release like this, some may have their own idea of what they wanted the mystery to become. (another anon recycled clone) while others may now read and have the foresight to recognized how a simple application such as an RPG, Trading card game in which one can use their acquired cards to play against other players will be worth something. This entire market is full of gamblers.. why not give them cards?

A few elements of the game:

The application we are building currently supports the capability to battle an enemy player and make wagers on who will win.

The pos system randomizes what marked coins are produced depending on stake weight, the more coins held, the more staked coins received.

It utilizes the simplicity of the blockchain to run the game, verify a win or loss, and prevent counterfeit cards from being created. We don't expect everyone to love what this will become but there is indeed an audience for it.

If you have any more questions, I will be here to answer them.

Thanks,

Solacedev

Something fresh and new. Thanks Smiley

Some people may only think the next anon coin has a chance, but they fail to realize how a decentralized Magic the gathering RPG will catch on. We are a couple months into game development.

Especially in places like China and Japan etc

A collectable card game, like Magic or Hearthstone, but on the blockchain.

how far along is game development?

My guess :

"we're looking for talented programmers right now!"

hmm. wish people would wait to release stuff until everythings done if thats the case. like when people r like ahh we had to launch sorry about not compiling a mac QT.  its like we didnt know this was coming we would not have missed it for another hour..

It's the same in crypto all across the board. All talk and no substance, ICO's, promises, whitepapers etc don't mean anything without an actual working product. Investing into coins that promised the moon was cool in 2013, now people are cynical about vaporware, and rightly so.
