Weekly report 03/29

In this difficult time, we continue our work. Here is our weekly report.

Development

New version (1.4.1) was released today: https://contracts.mywish.io/

While RSK integration is on-going we have released several enhancements today:

* Several projects requested limitations for min/max investments. Now, everyone can define limits during the crowdsale creation.
* Source codes section was re-built. Now it’s easy to get sources codes and upload it to Etherscan. Instructions were also added.
* Internal Dashboard for # contracts / #errors/ #users for online monitoring of Platform status — Developed & Installed at the office.
Next release will contain TestNet integration (the first step for adding new blockchains to MyWish Platform).

Exchanges

* KuCoin is still the main priority for us. However, we will change our priorities in the next week if not get final commitments.
We understand the importance of the listing on big exchanges and small exchanges are out of our interests.

Marketing

* As the result of the advertising campaign, the number of followers on Facebook has increased from 997 to 5.449. It can not be denied that for the new visitors an activity and an involvement on the page in social networks are important indicators. Their high level allows inspiring confidence in new people.
* We have updated main site: Team, Roadmap and News section.
* During marketing research, we have found that market size in Russia deserves more attention on our part ($310 MLN was raised by Russian projects in 2017). Thus, we provide the Russian users with the possibility to learn about MyWish in their own language. Our aim is to make MyWish the most convenient for each user. Chinese will be the next language to support.
* We plan to place feedback from MyWish users on the landing page. What is more, their reviews will be with “active” links in order the visitors could get the honest opinion from different users of our platform.
* On March 22, the international conference “Blockchain and Bitcoin” was held in Tallinn. This is one of a series of similar conferences in Europe, Israel, the CIS. There were many participants from Europe, as well as representatives of the United States and South-East Asia. The conference was attended by companies that are going to do token sale. MyWish expertise in creating smart contracts, the existence of different wizards, a special wizard for Crowdsale have aroused interest. European and American participants were separately interested in where MyWish takes developers and what is the experience of educating people. We got many interesting contacts that must grow into contracts.

Among new projects which used MyWish for Crowdsale, we would like to mention PharmaToken (https://pharmatoken.io/). Now everyone can pay for drugs by PharmaToken.

Weekly report 03/22

Hello everyone,

During this period, we have expanded our team, have released a new version and have launched an extensive advertising campaign.

Development

Yesterday we have launched the new version (1.4.0) of our service. The following features were released:

- We understand that many projects need own token for operational needs or for self-distribution. That’s why we have released Token contract: Create your own cryptocurrency (ERC-20) in several clicks.
- Adding support for ERC 223 standard: users can now choose whether the token will be an ERC20 or ERC223. This feature ensures that MyWish users don’t risk losing their tokens when funds are accidentally sent to a contract’s address which doesn’t support ethereum tokens.
- Automatisation the process of sending a letter to the user after deployment of his contract.

Exchanges

- HADAX (Huobi), OpenLedger, Kybernetwork — we start communication with their representatives and hope to succeed.
- KuCoin — negotiations are ongoing.

Marketing

- We have restarted an extensive advertising campaign on Twitter, Facebook and Google Adwords. Also, we are constantly working on website analytics, analyzing user behavior and looking for growth points.
- We have begun working on adding new languages to MyWish crowdsale landing page.
- We have started PR campaign: we have drawn up a plan of action that assist us in addressing the promotion the brand recognition.
- Our marketing manager participated in the “CryptoPiter” conference on March, 16 interacting with representatives of our target audience, looking for new partners, generating new explosive ideas for marketing.
- MyWish participated in SXSW, March 12. It was the biggest blockchain Summit, where there were industry leaders, blockchain enthusiasts, and members of mainstream media.

We received the suggestions from our users to add the following functions:

- “min investment” for Crowdsale contract;
- “White list”;
- KYC (we consider the possibility of a partnership with KYC provider);
- multicurrency.

We acknowledge and respect the views and interests of our users, that’s why we consider every suggestion.

How It’s Made: Crowdsale contract

More and more ICO contracts are created on MyWish platform. Therefore, today we want to talk about how the template for the ICO contract has been developed.

Assignment
The ICO (Crowdsale) template is designed to create contracts for having crowdsales with customizable parameters. The ICO settings are substituted into the contract’s template configuration file. Afterwards, when the preprocessing of the template takes place, a ready Crowdsale contract is generated with tests. Then the contract is compiled and deployed in the local blockchain, before it is automatically tested. The scheme of contract generation from the template:

Some news from our team
Nikolai (our Ethereum developer) has integrated ERC-223 token support into the MyWish platform. Users can now choose whether the token will be an ERC20 or ERC223.
This feature ensures that MyWish users don't risk losing their tokens when funds are accidentally sent to a contract address which doesn't support ethereum tokens.


The MyWish platform deploys your smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain from a specific address.
Because of this, the private key has to be available on the web server for signing and deployment. This web server has many other services running, which leads to an increase in the attack surface. How does MyWish make it safe?

Aleksei Udalov (our Senior Backend Developer) proposed the following solution; move the private key to a separate server with only one function: signing the transactions.

Aleksei is now focused on this task.


One of CTO's (Valeriy Dubrava) tasks is the integration of the RSK technology. The RSK network client is written in Java, and since our team has a lot of experience in this programming language, Valeriy is sure: the integration of the RSK network client with MyWish will face no obstacles.

I hope WISH would return to 1$ at least not dreaming about 10$ Reaching 1$ would be a great even crucial moment, making around 19-20 mil. of cap. That would be some decent steps. And get into top 300 of cmc.
Anyway your words sound inspiring though even getting January highs is a really really big trouble now. So I suppose to get 0.5-1$ but not that quick of course.
