It seems fair to adjust the announced premined amount to the total number of DROP that is in the Genesis wallet to best reflect the available project funds. This fund will be used to grow the project via bounty programs, partnerships and exchange listings, etc.

Thanks for giving a full reply like you did. With an adjustment in thinking and the fixed 150 block reward going forward I can reevaluate and understand the xDrop coin as simply one with a 12% premine that has always had a 150 block reward. It all fits nicely into place that way.

I've added your coin to my CN tracking site https://triforcecoin.com/ where if you select `untraded coins` you can see it listed. Wish you and your project the best! I liked what I saw and read which is why I guess I felt strongly about understanding the emission. Thanks again for clarifying your thoughts.

Recently joined this project. I want to say that their technical document is quite literate. There is a lot of support behind the project and a good and oppressive team of developers, so I think that it has all the chances to become one of the most successful projects of the year. It's enough time to invest your own and get a well-deserved reward for it.

a promising and worthy project. combines blockchain technology with decentralized messenger app that will make people free to communicate without fear of wiretapping. this is a platform that many people need. hopefully can run smoothly and success as expected.

It's really a bummer. Since you've mined 44,000 blocks for about 20 million coins it will take us, the miners at large, many many more blocks to earn the same amount.

So what is the emission curve then? Because if I used the first info you provided of the reward halving ever 11,000 blocks then we'd almost never be able to mine another 20 million coins. Hell the Python float gives out by the time we hit 2 million coins mined.

If the block reward stayed at 150 then we would still have to wait till 177,334 in block height before mining another 20 million coins.

133,334 blocks to mine what was y'all mined in just 44,000 blocks but split across all the miners. At a 90 second block time that will take about 140 days to reach what was mined before your announcement in just 45 days.

Yeah that sucks a little but it is your coin. I hope I'm wrong on all this.

10% premine = 99,999,999.9

first 11,000 blocks
1000 = 11,000,000

next 11,000 blocks
500 = 5,500,000

next 11,000 blocks
250 = 2,750,000

next 2,318 blcoks
150 = 347,700

So really your premine is more like 12% or about 119,597,699.9 coins.

Why wait so long to announce your coin if you already had 10% premined?
Why not start at 0 when you announced the coin instead of mining an additional 20 million coins?

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO BACKUP MY WALLET?

Well theoretically, only once. I'd recommend backing your wallet up on a few different USB drives, as file corruption can happen. Other than that, you only need to launch your xDrop client to send messages or keep your client synced with the blockchain, the wallet file itself contains your private keys and doesn't "need updating."

Official xDrop Project website launch!

Website looks great. Roadmap released!

Messages working great!

 Though potentially a tad bit expensive for bigger pieces of text.

That'll change as we grow
