If this is your own idea (it pretty much sounds like it), then this would be considered unfair because you can't just announce a contest with a reward, and then say "oh look I submitted my own whitepaper to myself and I decide that I won the contest, so I'll just keep the reward!!" Grin

the motivation is potentially useful.

how will you manage the new distribution of SCD once other coins are burned?
through distribution of existing coins (such as premine) or forking to re-enable PoW ?
or perhaps modifying the PoS reward schedule ??

an obvious question is whether you will reward burners, then you will require funds and how will you get them?

And who profits from it? Nobody because there is no incentive to buy, and no incentive to keep the wallet open. Burning coins (or suicidal friends) does not make a price rise automatically. Get some therapy dude.
