'For the future', MEOW reserved a private github just for their service/feature when it is announced.

And do you know what it is?  Wink  I can't tell whether you're part of their oversized Dev Team or not.

I dont and I have no affiliation with any coin. Simply a miner and speculating day trader. Or a troll. Or both.

Since mining meow is relatively easy (atleast for now) and still decently profitable Ill be doing that and maybe some flappy Smiley

*shrug* Good luck either way guys.

Kittehcoin already had a pretty good boost in popularity and price. I sold all of mine at the peak and I have yet to regret it.

Too many coins are trying to emulate Doge's success, and those coins are always doomed to fail if they don't go in another direction. It was something that's be difficult to replicate unless it were something with a huge hype like Flappy Bird. So I don't doubt that FlappyCoin will do well.

But regardless, how many coins have actually had 'innovations'? Go to coinmarketcap and think about it. Yes, there are some, and the 'innovative' coins often do well. But you can't condemn a coin to failure just because it doesn't have any huge new features, it doesn't work that way. If it did, a lot of the coins in the top 100 wouldn't be there. The coins that make it are the ones that have communities backing them that truly believe in them and don't sell it all off when it hits an exchange.

Max Keiser helped the popularity of MEOW by promoting to sell DOGE and buying MEOW. A week later he was/did come out with his own coin. The man has too much ego, almost as bad as wolong.. A Shepard must tend to his flock of sheep though.

I mined the majority of the MEOW I hold and played the market for the rest. It has been profitable even if I sold the few million I hold at current price (20-30 satoshi) My only grudge with that coin is not getting on cryptsy fast enough to hit the peak. I missed it by literally 2 minutes waiting for it to deposit. Either way, whatever I would have made would have been reinvested at todays prices for the same reasoning as above.

I agree, Doge made their PR approach in a very genius way and it worked. Other coins can manipulate other PR events but I dont think theres anything out there that could quite match that PR move.

No, a single coin hasnt had anything really innovative or useful behind it (except for primecoin) at release. I just see nothing new about this coin that hasnt been done already and nothing is in the works for anything new. I will say I like the new logo though. =)

ah, so since there are no "big" multi-coin pools, I assume the other pools here must be small mining multi-coin-pools? (ps, nothing against you small multiple coin pools, just checking...)

We're small at the moment because we just started up a week and a half ago.  Smiley

Really trying to gain some ground and get some big miners to help us grow on the other pools we operate.  We currently have 10 coins on the go, but really only 2 that people have adopted to.  Unfortunately I have LOTs of signup on the other pools, but no one is interested in mining them until i get actual miners to stick around and build up our hashrates.  Need some pioneers!  Smiley

I have to thank DNotes for reaching out to us and giving us the opportunity to be one of the initial luanch pools.  I hope everyone have been satisfied with the service as it looks right now that we currently hold the majority of the network hashrate on the pool.

Cheers,

Im surprised the trollcoin network hasnt gotten as big as the DNotes has.. yet

Problem with trollcoin is that half of the people think it's not real. All of the pools are offline regularly and the dev isn't really pushing it. Seemed like a decent idea to piggyback on the popularity of various memes/rage comics but there was no serious execution.

Again, popularity will make anything be seriously executed.

Network difficulty raised from 20m/h to 100+ m/h in one day.. 500% increase

Already given away 25k trollcoin to ppl trolling on world of warcraft that made me laugh. People like free things too.

Unless the Dev is trolling us hard, apparently he got mad sick shortly after the launch & is due back from the hospital today or tomorrow, I've been trying to keep interest going as have many other trolls, some unconfirmed projects are in the works & my hope is once Mr. trollcoins kicks back in gear things will begin to happen.

Samething happened with Kittehcoin (MEOW) when lead dev went to danosphere. He disappeared for about a week and came back strong. Too bad the MEOW market hasnt taken off .. yet. Im pretty heavily invested in that coin.

My ฿.02 is that DNotes (among many other altcoins) has zero innovation, or atleast zero innovation that is known. The announcement post is pretty vague. The one thing they do have going for them is raising awareness / popularity. I think flappycoin will win the popularity contest for the time being.

DNotes (Digital Notes) is a decentralized cryptocurrency designed for the long haul, backed by a team with decades
of experience in development, public relations, and marketing

Who? What experience, specifically? You could say that you have wolong on your team since he also has plenty of similar experience, and I would sell off what little DNotes I do hold.

My faith is still in MEOW based on their announcement that no other altcoin has what they are planning on releasing. Plenty of altcoins have paperwallets, exchanges, games, faucets, bounties, payment services, marketing, etc. The only coins that will exist and profit longterm will have innovation and offer unique services.

Initial Marketing Summary (First Month):
-Release to all major crypto forums
-Multiple giveaways over the course of the first month
-Facebook giveaway with press release announcing the coin and concept linked to website and facebook giveaway
-Social Media Promotion

Short-Term Marketing (First Year):
-Further Develop Coin and add new usability features and external resources.
 -Andriod Wallet/Mobile Integration
 -Payment Gateway
 -Install Wrapper w/ automatic updates
 -Marketplace
 -& Much more

So in their first year of operation, there is nothing new that they plan to offer or showcase which makes them unique.

Looking for talented professionals who are interested in growing with DNotes and earning some coin.

Ah, and anything unique that comes to the table will likely come from someone who has already did it for some other coin. No thanks.

Final thoughts: When the dogecoin fad bubble pops (and it will because fads are ALWAYS replaced with something new) it will because something substantial replaced it. Doge offers NOTHING unique. The only thing it has going for it is when gained instant worldwide positive PR when it put together enough doge to raise $25,000 worth in BTC to donate to the Jamaican bobsled team. (Who HASNT seen cool runners?) The cute logo and the meme battle is nice enough to bring new people to the table but ultimately; its just another coin which offers nothing new and made a handful of early miners and speculative day traders very rich.

Trollcoin wont replace doge either, I just figured it would be more popular than this coin since atleast trollcoin fulfills a purpose.

*shrug* Good luck either way guys.

Please be sure to set automatic payout where possible to prevent loss of coin. Looks like the pool is back up though.
