25 million are block bonuses for the first month (that's why block rewards are 1000 and not 250), not part of the premine in any way.

Yes, that only brings the premine down to 5%, but that's still better than 10%

I put msi afterburner on so I can monitor validerror's pool,
I can confirm that the hash drops and completely disconects at times.
its all over the place ... extremely unstable!

it is working okay now....

took forever to sync up. I think the nodes were getting ddos for about 10 mins... that is why the dev should only release the conf file inside the qt zip not on the front page.

Then again the first 250 blocks were only small so don't care about that.... blocks have risen to being worth 1000 now so that is worth mining more now than at the start.

up to 5 blocks now but not confirmed yet.

I see on dnotespool.com there are many people mining, but cgminer won't connect with the settings they have provided... very strange.

I am mining fine on charitypools but on their website they aren't showing blocks found so it's unclear if they are configured properly
