I would still like to know what the heck the main purpose of this coin is? What service does this coin offer or what specific feature or what cause does it serve?

obviously it's fast transactions, 30 sec per block, that can be usefull for small offline traders and other prompt payments
And yes, NYC is for NYC. After all it's seems that coin has a potential to skyrocket very soon
These are the major for me.
Maybe someone could point out other advantages arising form tech side of the coin?

I don't want to be rude, but anything you mentioned as a feature or advantage of this coin is literally worth nothing on a competitive scale. I was always wondering why anyone would pay attention to this?

You must have a low iq or not understand digital currency. Have you ever used bitcoin? You know that little insignificant thing called TIME. See if those are enough hints for you to discover the HUGE benefit of using NYC to send and receive money...

I pretty much don't care about what you think my IQ is like. If a 30 sec block time is all you have to offer, then good luck with your shitty project.

Current block height at Coingather still 3590623, not moving, that is the problem right there.

Update. Many of my missing deposits have now appeared however the Coingather wallet still appears to be 500 blocks behind.
Have not heard a word from their support.

Coin info submitted to poloniex and coinomi to add NewYorkCoin (NYC)

hello, You could try to add the coin on cryptopia, or novaexchange. Poloniex had added one coin during the last month and will never list the NYC,but Cryptopia add almost everyday coins.

Just checked the Coingather wallet again. It's still stuck at the same number. This is probably a good thing. They bounce that sucker and they may be back in business.

Coingather's Wallet Status page shows that they are over 600+blocks behind on the chain.

Their page shows block 3590623 but the chain is on block 3591216.

I am once again seeing deposit issues at Coingather.

I have multiple deposits up to 24 hours old on the blockchain with hundreds of confirmations that have never arrived. I also have deposits from the Hobbyist pool that are also on the blockchain and confirmed that have not been credited. I have just opened a ticket with Coingather and have provided them with all the Transactions Ids. Will update when I hear more.

P.S. NYC FOUNDATION is not the f*ing Clinton Foundation. It's you and me, original miners that won't allow NewYorkCoin to die. We all are the NYC FOUNDATION - everyone that mines, buys, supports NewYorkCoin (duh!)

What do you think about top 100/10 NYC holders, can dev do it?
Or you consider such things as an excessive measures?

Whoever is buying now is buying very cheap. Still an unknown alt-coin with no usage. That hasn't changed in last couple of months but NYC has been getting ready for her grand debut...

Again, NewYorkCoin will be seen by tens of thousands of New Yorker's at the 2017 THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE. And merchant stickers will be all around New York City for holiday shoppers to see.

I am waiting for Mac and Android to be tested and ready before jumping the gun. Once ready, the calling shall begin!

Patience with NewYorkCoin will pay off handsomely in the end  Grin

Received an email from coingather yesterday that they have switched to updated NYC code/wallet (2017) and all issues are now resolved.

Real exchanges do NOT charge to get a coin listed. That's what scam exchanges do.

NewYorkCoin wants listing on poloniex and bittrex.
And hopefully someday coinbase...

P.S. NYC FOUNDATION is not the f*ing Clinton Foundation. It's you and me, original miners that won't allow NewYorkCoin to die. We all are the NYC FOUNDATION - everyone that mines, buys, supports NewYorkCoin (duh!)

I want to back allknowingeye in his questions.
You should definitely think of taking off “corporate veil” from NYC foundation, who are standing behind this entity? Knowing who is in charge always makes sense, especially when we are talking about investments; it’s not just a whim.
The second thing I would strongly recommend to do is to publish addresses of top 10/top 100 NYC holders. Why do that? You see, serious investors will doubtfully acquire assets with no clear understanding of how it’s all going to be managed/pumped/ and etc. What if 1 man holds 50% of all available coins? Or 10 men hold 90% of supply? That will change all strategies drastically.
These measures are not a panacea, but by all means a brick in a NYC tower of wealth.

Your friendly neighborhood Crypter.
Ok so the circulating supply of coins is 59,719,935,819.  I don't think this is correct.  Maybe it could be way less??

Hey team I received a response from Bleutrade's exchange and this is what they said:  "Bleutrade is studying the possibility of adding new coins. We are going through a process of restructuring our services and soon we will bring news. We are open to suggestions and proposals of good projects."

I suggest to post here in the topic list of direct links for making/sending request to all exchanges we are willing to be listed on.
So everyone who is interested could make his or her own contribution via sending request or question about NYC listing.
Questions/requests should consider strait idea - "i heard about NYC, it's interesting and gaining trading volume. It has alive community, and it's rising"
If such requests would become a large-scale occasion we will definately profit
I hear yuh man.  And all i did was simply send the request to their support team on their exchange site.  BleuTrade also has a Twitter, so we can try to send requests here too.

So here we go, anyone feel free to use these links to promote NYC:
For BleuTraede:
https://bleutrade.zendesk.com
https://www.facebook.com/Bleutrade/
https://twitter.com/bleutrade

For Poloniex:

For Bittrex:

Appreciate the links man.  These are my top three exchanges that I like to trade on.  We don't need a bunch of exchanges to trade, all we need are these three and we'll be fine.  Let's focus on BleuTrade first and then when we start to pick up more volume; we can focus on the other two.  Or if we wanna tackle all three together then that's even better.  Wink
