Oh joy... another BC clone coin gone wrong. Unlike WC, there are no blocks being found with OC. Way to go, dev!

I will release a small patch tonight to correct the issue.  Thanks for the support.

I guess I could take  a week like Whitecoin but a patch in under 24hrs is how I roll.

okay just went and checked the pool I was mining OC from and it looks like we got the last block but it has 1 confirmation so far and that
block was found 8 hours ago.

That's because in order for the coins to confirm, new blocks need to be generated. There have been no new blocks since the last PoW block, 10000. Until the PoS starts generating blocks, there is no way for the last PoW coins to confirm. The same thing happened to the BCC coin, blocks stopped generating after the PoW stage ended and the dev had to release a new wallet in order to fix it.

So orange devs need to go have a look at how bc devs fixed their code and do the same

It was the BitCoinTalk Coin (BCC) that had the same problem, not BlackCoin (BC). The dev will probably need to release a new wallet for staking to generate new blocks. The PoW stage began 16 days ago so some staking from the first two days should have happened by now.

@halofirebtc
have a feeling we'll see the dev around hour 12 since 10000. 350 confirms, 700 minutes, 11.something hours. that's about 4 hours from now. Good night everybody, need some sleep.

Don't panic, this is easy fix if pos is by chance not working. lol, probably takes longer to post new wallet.zip's than it does to fix the codes.

someone tried to make transaction?

Go for it, I don't like to make transaction with a wallet out of sync, idle.

you first Cheesy... or both together on the count of three

Don't be silly guys and gals, I suggest holding off moving coins around until block 10001 hits.

do people have stake yet?
What are the requirements for a PoS block to be formed? Does there need to be a certain amount of connections, or certain amount of data to be built into blocks, or transactions etc?

the out of sync might just be a glitch until it starts moving again. Same problem here though after restarting computer.

Ko! Thanks for the info.  Tongue
