Compiled the wallet, not sure why the OP is wanting to "hold" it until release, get your coins in early and let's hope this is not premined!

On top of being in the wrong post for Mooncoin questions, mooncoin was a total clone of doge so if you self-compile without going thru the code you'll have a lot of doge info in it

I don't think the conf file name is important, the wallet just reads whatever conf file is in the appdata folder, I believe...
