hi, I wanted to try OKcash, installed latest wallet, let it full sync, bought several coins and transfered them to my wallet, everythings seems ok but...
wallet permanently sync last 2-3 blocks every several minutes and staking does not work during these often sync. So wallet is minute-2-3 synced and staking is working, another minute-2-3 wallet is syncing and staking is not working, and this repeat all the time when wallet is running.
the moment when wallet need to sync last 2-3 blocks and POS is disabled during it:
the moment when the wallet is synced and POS started again
then:
and after several minutes again, new sync with disabled POS, and repeat all the time
is this normal? how this affect staking when wallet is a big part of the day with disabled POS and need resync last 2-3 blocks?

No, its a local issue. I've had this happen before, and it works after a restart. It appeared i had stakes rolling in too while i was supposedly behind.

how to add? Where do I add it?
Go to your OKcash roaming folder:
C:\Users\YOUR COMPUTER\AppData\Roaming\OKCash
create a new text document, and paste the above in it.
Save as (not just save) with the name OKcash.conf
OKcash will need restarted and it will load those nodes, and you'll get connected quick. I think we have a seeder node change or something right now. Network is 100+ strong, wierd issue.

Using Linux gui wallet 4.0.0.5 unable to sync or even get a single active connection to a peer on the network. Any suggestions anybody?
Interesting enough, one of my wallets (Windows) is also unable to find any peers and has zero connection, while another one (Linux) is working just fine (yet).
When I try to add nodes from the working wallet to the non-working one, all nodes get rejected because of a "socket recv error 10054". I assume that is a network connection issue, as my wallet is behind two NAT routers, one of which is not controlled by me. You may have similar network issues. Try to add the nodes below; if it doesn't help, you would probably need to run the wallet on a VPS with real public IP and port 6970 opened in your firewall.

EDIT: In fact, I was using the old windows wallet. After upgrading to the latest 4.0.0.5, the wallet found connections immediately, and now it shows 81 (
) active peers! So I suppose adding the peers above should resolve your issues. If only we could get the developer back...

No, there was no ICO, it was initially distributed by POW. There was a developer premine though (2691000 coins), however as far as I know, it was mostly distributed to public too, using airdrops and other methods. This project was completely driven by the enthusiasm of the developer (mostly) and the community (unfortunately to much lesser extend).

But if you own too little, you have to wait very long for the stake. As little as 1000-2000 coins should be fine to stake more or less regularly.
As to the staking percentage, according to the source:
We are at block 1733368, so the current annual staking reward is 10%. It will drop to 5% after block 2025028.

Using Linux gui wallet 4.0.0.5 unable to sync or even get a single active connection to a peer on the network. Any suggestions anybody?
