Also I cannot use the "addnonde" command in the debug window i get error {"code":-32601,"message":"Method not found"}.

I tried adding olympiccoin.conf but program crashes upon launch.

It can take a few hours to change from unconfirmed to confirmed. As long as it's showing in unconfirmed you will eventually get it.
I tested oly.dogemoon.com last night, everything is working fine with the pool.
