@1COIN,,, OK try,ed the new sgminer 3s-2 been mining with it for 9hours now no crash yet (GOODTIMES) but im still geting error (waiting for work from pool) i have tryed 3  different pools so i dont think it the pools so it must be the miner yes?? or no?? i get this error every 5-10 mins

???are people still have this problem WITH UPDATED MINER  let us no if you are???

MY SETUP UPDATED FOR SGMINER 3s-2 asus r9 280x 7.9 MH a card  = sgminer3s -o stratum+tcp://one.suprnova.cc:2323 -u pigy -p pig -I 18

thats it let the miner do the settings for you, you may want to set the fan to  auto if you have your cards in a pc case but i dont like the miner controlling the fan when i do 1 card seems to run a bit slower than the rest just let your OS control the fan best way i find,  and you can get a lil more hash if you go to -I 19 but i dont like my -I over 18 and at 18 the runing temp wont get hotter than 70c

Hello all

Quick question. I would like to compare my results on hd7950card
I got 5.35Mh/s per card
my miner arguments are as follows
-I 18 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192

I tried few different settings but this the best i can get at the moment.
Does somebody have better results?

yes try setting core clock to atleast 1100 and mem clock down to 1200 or lower as this algo relys more on core speed then memory, tc to 22400 -g 1 and I 20. gives 6.6mhs per card.

I tried the new gpu miner in the OP.

Ran fine for about 3 hours then I had the lock up again . I am puzzled at what is causing this.

I have no issues at all running my Nvidia cards but can't get the AMD to stay up and running.

Using Windows 7 64bit driver 13.12. I thought maybe driver issue but someone else posted same issue using driver 14.7 on Windows 7, though not sure if they are on 32 or 64 bit.

i think you should try 14.4 at least or maybe even 14.9
but it does sound more like a heat problem or maybe faulty hardware

Yea sounds tht way to me too, maybe the fan speed is not high enough allowing card to overheat. I've started a new miner before and not noticed the fan was barely running untill it overheated and crashed the comp.

I'm getting 9.3 Mh/s on my 290x bf4 an 3.6 Mh/s on hd7850. Didn't do much tweaking last night as I was late getting my cards launched but Today Im going try to tweak alittle more but overall the miners seem to be stable. One rig is running windows 8.1 x64 w 14.7 drivers and the other windows 7 x64 14.6 drivers

Not faulty cards as this only happens with this miner and not heat issue. fans running at 75% on both cards and they are at 55° and 50°.

Pushing the cards to hard? Possibility here is my bat: --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 19 --worksize 256 -g 2 also both cards are at Core: 1050 and Mem: 1550

Getting 6.6 Mh/s on my 280X and 4.3 Mh/s on my 270X.
hi try this setting for your 280x i have 8 asus r9 280x and im geting 7.9 MH on each card setings are -I 18 -g 2 -w 128 --thread-concurrency 8193 --gpu-engine 1140 --gpu-memclock 1500 they run low temp as well no 60-67

Try using experimental intensity of 85 - 100 you will get more stability and bring your mem clock down 1550 seems awfully high and I don't think you'll get much more performance running it that high.

I run my engine clock at 1010 and mem clock at 1325 and I get decent hashrates + long term stability. On X11 it can run for over a month without a restart and this new 3s algo seems to be even better. Hats off to the dev team!

GUY PLZ HELP BEEN MINING FROM START(SUPRANOVA POOL)  i am geting coins but my sgminer keep crashing iv tryed to put a backup pool but it dont change to it because it crash keep geting (waiting for work from pool) b4 the crash. but this error pop up ever 5-10 mins IS any1 fixing this?? or do any1 no why this keep crashing because iv lost 5 hours mining because of crash. PLZ HELP :}              LOVE THE NEW ALGO Smiley

IM ON WINDOWS 7 AMD 14.7 DRIVERS

What type of cards are you using? sounds to me like your pushing your cards to hard, you need to tweak to find optimal settings for your cards that don't crash the miner. ive found that just letting sgminer suggest settings and using that and changing to xI instead of using intensity
