Hello OneCurrency Community,
Work is still in progress to published a full history book of Cloak (the cryptocurrency rebranded to OneCurrency earlier this month). Crypto Books has now diligently researched historical events on the original Cloak Bitcointalk thread from page 1 to 600 (3rd June 2014 to 2nd August 2014). A rough milestone timeline has been put together quickly. This is as follows:
3rd June – Original Cloak Bitcointalk thread created at 19:18:49 UTC by user “TheDagger”.
3rd June – Block number one timestamped (block reward 1 CLOAK) at 21:30:08 UTC.
4th June – First exchange called Bittrex began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC.
4th June – First block explorer at
http://cloak.blockexplorer.cc/chain/CloakCoin was launched.
4th June – Second exchange called CoinNext began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC.
5th June – Coin logo design competition began.
6th June – Cloak added to the market capitalisation ranking site

9th June – Version 1.9.2.0 (mandatory) Windows wallet client released (in order to initiate PoS before PoW was scheduled to finish at block number 10,080.
10th June – Version 1.9.2.0 (mandatory) Mac OSX wallet client released.
10th June – Block number 10,080 timestamped at 12:10:44 UTC.
10th June – Market capitalisation of Cloak surpassed $1 million for the first time.
10th June – First Cloak multipool went live at

16th June – New design (last known logo design) of Cloak won the logo contest.
17th June – Version 1.9.3.0 (Windows and Mac OSX) wallet clients released (CloakSend + non-mandatory)
17th June – Official Cloak website updated in terms of appearance and content.
19th June - Fourth exchange called MintPal began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC.
19th June - Fifth exchange called Coins-e began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC.
20th June - Sixth exchange called Cryptsy began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC.
21st June - Seventh exchange called Bleutrade began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC, LTC and DOGE.
20th June – Version 1.9.4.0 wallet client released (CloakSend 2.0)
22nd June – A community development fund wallet address created for Cloak.
22nd June – Twitter accoiunt at …/Cloak_coin created by user “raw1”
22nd June - Eighth exchange called AllCrypt began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC.
23rd June - Ninth exchange called CoinEx began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC.
25th June – Six people on the Cloak Development Team (four being full-time).
25th June – Version 1.9.5.0 wallet client released (CloakTrade 1.0 Alpha in wallet trading).
4th July – Ten people required to test PoSA thoroughly on testnet.
6th July – Version 1.9.5.2 (Windows and Mac OSX) wallet clients released (first wallet with inbuilt exchange trading platform)
9th July – Bitcoin Satoshi value of one unit of Cloak account surpassed 100,000 for the first time.
10th July – Version 1.9.6.0 Windows wallet client released (PoS patch scheduled to come into effect at block number 59,860)
11th July – Official Cloak Forum went live at
http://www.cloaktalk.org by use “Coolstoryteller”.
11th July – Version 1.9.6.0 Mac OSX wallet client released.
12th July – Version 1.9.7.0 wallet client released.
13th July – Block number 59,860 timestamped at 03:23:23 UTC.
16th July – Paper wallet generator added to the site

20th July – Phase two of PoSA on testnet began.
21st July - Tenth exchange called LiteBit began to offer active trading of Cloak against EUR.
23rd July - Eleventh exchange called LazyCoins began to offer active trading of Cloak against BTC.
27th July – Version 1.9.7.24 currently being worked upon (a testnet version for PoSA).
27th July – Public beta testing of PoSA began.
29th July – One unit of Cloak account surpassed $1 for the first time.
30th July – Cloak developer interviewed by Josiah Wilmoth.
30th July – Version 1.9.7.25 wallet client released (a beta release).
31st July – All time high market capitalisation of Cloak reached at ~$8,749,175 (~341,102 BTC Staoshi per CLOAK) according to the site
www.coinmarketcap.com.
1st August – PoSA technical diagram released by the developers.
1st August - A Q&A was opened in the Cloak IRC for anyone who haf questions regarding PoSA and the published flow diagram.
1st August – Two articles published on
http://bitcoinist.net/. One written by Armaan Chandnani and another one by Nigel Dollentas.
