time has come to update our OPCX wallets. https://github.com/opcoinx/OPCoinX/releases/tag/v2.0.0
Our github is well documented with many notable changes for this release. Some quick notes before you update. As always we recommend creating a backup of you wallet.dat file and securing it on another device as well for redundancy. Close the current OPCX wallet and wait for it to fully close this may take several minutes. Download and run the current v2.0.0 build. If you have trouble syncing you may have to go in tools menu wallet repair and use the bottom button (delete local block chain folders) to force your wallet to resync. This will take several hours. As always we recommend creating a backup of you wallet.dat file and securing it on another device as well for redundancy.
Masternode users. You will need to start securing transactions of 150000 OPCX per masternode BEFORE BLOCK 695000 Starting Friday September 13th we will begin spork enforcement and banning malicious actors to enforce the update. v1.0.0 will be inactivated at this time.

The Overpowered team is working hard and as small as our team is, we are trying to be more active on our communication channels.
The overpoweredcoin project is a project with two intertwined Proof-of-Stake cryptocurrencies. While OPC is a high supply coin with a fixed percentage interest rate, OPCX is a low supply masternode coin with fixed rewards. Both run on seperate blockchains and will be used in the Overpowered ecosystem, which starts with the opening of the Overpowered store [https://opcx.store]. The main product will consists of almost every possible digital gift card that's available around the globe. While our project is focusing on building an ecosystem around streaming and gaming, the Overpowered team is building the infrastructure needed to support our these elaborate plans.
One of our main pillars is to exclude third party influence and risks for our users. The ecosystem is build with care and of course we are trying our very best to make sure nobody can temper with the foundation we lay. In the last weeks we have made great progress on the store and found our supplier/partner. Good things are coming and we foresee a bright future!
A note for potential new investors and holders: The current price doesn't reflect at all what it should be in my personal humble opinion. Presale prices and worth right after the swap from OPC were above 1000 sats. We are well aware that the overall market crash and small liquidity (due to less interest and low usability). This will need time to recover, but we are glad to see the sell walls are very small. This makes our way up relatively easy compared to many other coins, but it's also hard for new investors to get their hand on a decent amount of OPCX for a 'good' price (relative of course since presale was 1000+ sats). We hope for our investors to see upward movement in price and are working hard to achieve that. This 'easy' way up is even without the calculation of profit use from the store, so called buy-backs.

Glad to hear things are moving forward, especially in a crazy crypto market like we have right now. It is really nice to hear good news like this and it reminds me that I made the right choice by sticking it out.

As many of you already know we have been working hard to bring our store live. We have dealt with a ton of issues through out the process. From developers leaving us half way thru the project to eventually building our own payment processor and setting up a whole new store from scratch when we were left hanging! The time for all the hard work is nearing an END now! Yesterday we successfully completed 3 test transactions with our store using both OPC and OPCX! The payment processor and email system is working 100% correctly!! The coins were received the emails sent and products were purchased using our coins! This is great news for the community as a whole and the OPC / OPCX ecosystem as we are so much closer to fulfilling our use case. The next week / weeks we will be handling some legal and accounting situations and setting up the store with products for everyone to purchase. Thanks for sticking by the team as we fought to bring you this system and a big congratulations :party: to the OPC / OPCX team and community as a whole is in order GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
