Question: Does the block reward just go to zero?  Will blocks still be created just with no block reward as long as there are connections and miners?

If not maybe nasakioto can add a 1 block reward after coin 21,000,002 is minted?

Since allchains was up, I sent 3000 ixc to him. 1050 for the bonus. ama was active today 1st time in months.

Run them inside a virtual machine that you don't use anything else for and you're almost certainly safe.

Is it wise to publish a binary of uncertain provenance for public download?

15,000 IXC sent to DoubleC for first half of merged mining bounty.

We'll stick to Bitcoin's transaction fee scheme for now - except if it becomes apparent in the future that changes need to be made.

Gotcha, so are there mandatory transaction fees with ixcoin?  As far as I can tell, bitcoin only has voluntary transaction fees. 

However the merged mining may allow ixcoin to survive with very little transaction fees.  I would think long term that no trasaction fees would not be good for the chains life.

"rewards other than transaction" oops.  Thus no more 96 or 48 rewards added to blocks.

How/why does "mining stop" in 2015?  How will transactions be processed if there is no mining?  Do you mean that fees are to replace new coins rewarded for mining?

However, due to re-target algorithm times should be shorter.
