Oh well, now those Bulgarian mushroom pickers on the side of the road will have laptops ready to accept Bitcoin payments.

you can't use their real names - trust me, it's not easy coming up with names for tons of girls

Can't you just shift left, like a bitwise operation? Smiley

That would be awesome :p My wife and I (yes my wife is that cool) sat down together, looking at videos and pictures for hours trying to come up with fitting names for the girls. Some couples try to come up with baby names - we instead watch porn and give the girls new names. Don't be jealous. Smiley

I have enough licensed content (images, videos, as well as all the proper legal documentation to prove age and that the models were paid) for someone to start a full site. I am done with that side of business personally - but would be willing to transfer ownership of everything for a certain price... If anyone is interested I can provide some examples of the content, a complete listing of the file counts and sizes as well as lengths for the videos.

Purchasing this from me would transfer the rights (I would forfeit them), giving you all the videos, images, legal documents as well as the fake names we came up for each person (since you can't use their real names - trust me, it's not easy coming up with names for tons of girls :p) and I would include the contact info to the producer of the content if you ever wanted to get more at good prices.

PM me if interested.

Thanks for the constructive criticism bitlotto, I agree 20c is too expensive for the images that are there (which are from this point onwards to be known as 'placeholders').

I'm organizing some premium content which will be fully licensed and will hopefully be worth paying 20c for.

BitLotto - best odds + best payouts + cheat-proof
My suggestions:
-price is WAY too high - it's about 0.20 USD per picture. -other sites if you convert price/picture probably ends up being 0.001
-you have a good idea BUT don't use other people's pictures- go the amateur porn route!! Create an amateur porn hosting site! Check imagefap or newbienudes.  Host everyone's pictures/videos. Then share the profits with the people who upload. Create lot's of categories and people will come if they know they can make some money off of it.
-when users upload you automatically add your site copyright along with their username.

If you use this idea and become insanely rich please remember me! LOL.  Cheesy

But do you have any rights on those pictures? A tineye search show plenty of results for those pictures.

I've specifically chosen images where copyright is unknown and/or unclaimed (i.e. Mostly amateur/selfshot). If any copyright holders of images on my website wish to be compensated, they are more than welcome to contact me.

Google images and a shopping cart interface could duplicate this business.

I'd absolutely welcome any would-be competitors to do so.

There is still much to learn.

However, it matters not one jot what your views are on copyright.
...
What matters is that your view on copyright doesn't determine the law.

Oh I see... people's views don't matter, only laws matter?

Wow, I better stop downloading pirated movies then.

Thanks for the tip.

Only laws matter when you get hauled up in front of a judge.  Try telling him that "in your view copyright is invalid, because intellectual property is an illusion" and see what happens.

You are free to do what you want, as is everyone on this planet, but choices have consequences.

To be honest, I care very little about whether you are breaking the law or not; I have plenty of contempt for laws.  My problem here is that you aren't rewarding the pretty girls whose images you are selling.  You have done nothing other than put images that you've downloaded up on the Internet and charged a fee for accessing them.   You aren't in the photos, you didn't take the photos, you didn't try and contact the people who are in them, you didn't try to contact the photographers.  Google images and a shopping cart interface could duplicate this business.

If your response is "yeah, so what?  I don't care about the naked chicks", then that's fine.  People can then judge for themselves whether to hand over their Bitcoins to you with that information in mind.

There are a great many laws, of which, at any time of the day you are guilty of breaking(whether you know it or not). Those are bad laws. Ignore them if you can get away with it and they will soon fail to become law (for is it really a law if noone is obeying or enforcing it).

Laws are simply "rules", something some people have gotten together and decided you're not allowed to do. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them. Why should you follow them unless someone is at a loss as a result of your actions?

Bad laws by bad people should be ignored and not followed.

Evil laws by evil people should also be fought against.

So basically you'd like to watch a video of me being murdered, simply because we have differing views on copyright laws?

God, I love the internet Cheesy

The murder thing is obviously rhetoric.  However, it matters not one jot what your views are on copyright.  Mine might well coincide for all you know; that is irrelevant.  What matters is that your view on copyright doesn't determine the law.  I disagree with a great many laws, but if I don't obey them I get in trouble.

You are in blatent violation of copyright.

Not to mention it being ethically suspect to have taken the work of another and put it up for sale.

It is your duty to track them down and get permission before you use the picture, not their duty to spend all day every day looking for potential copyright violators.

The plan is later to add premium content which would be done exclusively for my site, but I need to work out if the price can be justified first.

So basically you're displaying pornographic pictures of women you don't know, without their permission, for profit. Someone ought to make you the star of an amateur snuff scene. I'd pay top dollar to see it!

I'd critique the morality of your business model but I cannot imagine pay per image porn will be a viable business model as anything but a shortlived bitcoin curiosity, so have at it.

You do know that there is no need to claim copyright?  Everything has copyright, it's actually incredibly hard to disclaim copyright.

You are without doubt infringing the copyright of every photographer who's pictures you are using without permission.   Saying "if they want recompense they can contact me" is not reasonable.  You might as well steal cars and say "the owner can contact me if they want a rental fee".

I like Nefario's proposed business model. Currently, third world girl naked webcam uses VISA/MC (see livejasmin.com). Apparently, this single site is around the 50th most visited site on the web.
Bitcoin would allow lower transaction and setup costs, and superior anonymity for customers. Hopefully, the girls could obtain a larger fraction of the money.

Unlike pictures and video, webcams do not have to compete with an enormous volume of free content.

We're going to have every girl in a third world country with a webcam putting questionable picks of themselves up here.  Roll Eyes

How would they do that? The premium content would be done by professional models in Sydney, Australia.
