Hello. I am the owner of russianbitcoin.com and I have decided to sale this domain or even lease it. also I am interested in developing an exchange website where you can sell bitocoins for rubble in russia.  If anyone is interested, you can PM me with any project ideas you might have and we can make some profit share with this.

In Cryptocoins I Trust
anyone have a basic table comparing coins and their advantages disadvantages, invention date, creator etc.

I know there's a mining profitability calculator here:
http://dustcoin.com/mining

The sticky at the top of this forum is pretty informative: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-of-all-cryptocoins-134179

How am I supposed to get enough RUC to make the cell? I'm so confused but it seems you can't mine unless you already have coins?

Go to rucoin.config

Add "minerid=desiredminerid" and see if that fixes it...

Rucoin may come back, its just that BTC-E took it on and then threw it away.

That will never help a coin, makes people think it is dead.

BTC-e has carried RUC twice and removed it twice. Both times due to low trade volume because no one knew what RUC was and others assumed RUC was the same as RUR.

I think at this point enough people are mining RUC and I think enough people would trade in it to make it a feasible addition to an exchange.

This time they totally removed from the site, wtf they did, I hope they can reopen it.

Why do you think the client is what dictates what the coin is? Anyone could implement the same features into any other coin client.

And yet no one has... And no other coin has the built-in network security to protect it from 51% attack which I have seen in action with my own eyes.

And since the coin is essentially defined by the code inside the client well, YEAH, the client pretty much dictates what the coin is in every literal sense of the word.

Is Rucoin dead?
has it's own in-client chat ... and it is the only client with btc-e trade built directly into the client.
....
I believe it is the best client currently available.

It is closed-source which the devs say they are keeping it closed source for the time being because they are not finished developing it and don't want to release the code until they are sure the client is 100% safe from security and network vulnerabilities.

Rucoin has got a very nice client with a lot of features but it seemed that was not enough and also having a coin with a name tied to a country probably did not help either.

At the moment for me the most interesting new coin out is Mincoin.
