As far as the coin developer, he seems to be quite genuine.

Well I'm not here to really make money and certainly do not want to appear like I'm trying to limit the price. Instead I'm here to support this coin and the musicians, so perhaps I'll just hold the coin, as it does seem to be in limited supply on the "trading floor."
I was actually thinking of starting a nice and generous faucet for SONGcoin. One that is not full of ads -- but well organized with information about SONGcoin, how to trade / mine, etc. This coin could use some publicity.
Anyone recommend a good and secure open-source faucet that I can host on a Digital Ocean droplet?

If you're trying to sell all that you need to realize that you won't sell it all in one chunk like that. Break it up and place some sells. All you're doing by putting it up as a 6+btc sell wall is cap market movements. I thought it was a bot because I saw the sell order auto increase price by 1sat whenever a new sell came in above it. It will be unfortunate if no one starts buying at a decent price, as then the mining will halt.
The difficulty is really high and without miners taking a loss right now, transactions will not move quickly.

My prediction,that nothing will change soon,two days ago was about 2.5btc
and nobody is selling even at 1300sat

Thanks Karn, yes lot's of people involved so we're working hard to do the right thing. Very much a long term proposition, we should have some extra good news in the next few months. Anchoring Songcoin via market adoption and continued development. That's what we're focused on. Still very early days.

Looks like the difficulty has dropped off. My miners are generating song quite fast
The "every other block" is panning out like a bonus mining timeframe at the moment. Once the diff reset back to low it went crazy was up to 12GH/s at one point. Of course quickly back to the "standard diff", we might call it that.
