pools down
yeah, being DDOS'd, i guess the high interested in darkcoin monopoly is driving people to do stuff like that.

Hi, I see at least 4-5 payouts last 24 hours. Could you check back if your address is correct?

CXJruAUvEQTQ5bM6U4w1rdCGJAVkwqyo47 here , hi !

just wondering i have 540 kh/s and i have set up my miner using the guide and used the + thing next to my user name based on the formula. im getting work at only 41 diff, is that normal on a p2p ? thanks, im also getting hardware errors since i switched from dedicatedpool, i this acceptable ?

thanks

Hi gentamicin and welcome to my public p2pool node.

You are getting the 41 diff because of the +thingy next to your payout address. If you thing 41 is too low, just increase the number behind the +.
If you get hardware errors you have to decrease your intensity until it runs stable enough. Thats normal for Scrypt-Jane coins.

Which intensity are you using?

i got my settings from cach.catzoin.cz but intensity is at 17.

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cpu / mem 1040/1500
cgminer --scrypt-jane --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1388949883 -o stratum+tcp://cach.catcoin.cz:3333 -u worker_user -p worker_password -w 64 -g 1 -I 17 --thread-concurrency 45000 --no-submit-stale --lookup-gap 2 --expiry 10 --scan-time 1 --queue 0

can you recommend me settings for the 290x sapphire OC tri-x version and the + diff setting i should use. i have 3 cards on my rig. im setting my difficulty based on your website. i get about 180 kh/s per card.

thanks !

No rewards for 24 hours, wuz up on this server?

Well, with p2pool having 2.5 Mh/s and about 3.5% of network hashrate, there should be one bock every 7 hours in average. So ... I guess just a bad luck - blocks that took over 400% of expected time are not so uncommon Wink

Can i expect then for example 30 CACHE with one reward? (My miner is the one with "Cea...."-address)

hi slipknot79

i am mining on the same pool as you but getting hardware errors occasionally etc, and variable hashrates, could you please share you config with me ?
i am using 3x 290x , what are you using ?

thanks

Just wondering - the pool list now shows uptime, fees and country (from geoIP?) for each pool node - would it be possible to also show local hashrate of every pool node, or such info is not available from the inter-pool communication? I think that would be a nice improvement of the list...
That would be nice indeed and shouldnt be hard.

Unfortunately, I dont have time to do this.

I simply modified the open source p2pool-scanner https://github.com/litecoin-project/p2pool-scanner
to work with Cachecoin.

There are other nice p2pool scanners out there but none of them seems to be open source:
- VTC http://scanner.etyd.org/ (my favourite)
- LTC http://p2pool.geeks.pl/
- DRK http://p2pools.org/drk

The server at q30.qhor.net experienced hardware issues which are fixed now.

All services are operating normal again.
