My theory:

- it's scrypt-jane
- rpc has been disabled in this pre-compiled client or password is hardcoded
- coin creator has his own version and mines with ybminer (scrypt-jane)
- after a while a v1.1 client will be released on github, when he mined enough

Why I think password is hardcoded? When I create a pangubi.conf and point the miner at the correct port I set in the conf, it gives an "invalid credentials" error rightaway. If I point it at the wrong port, it takes 5 seconds to give an error. So something is listening but doesn't accept my credentials.

I don't think I ever used the word "scamcoin" on this forum but I have a feeling I'm close to using it.

I looked at the exe for scrypt references, scrypt-jane was indeed build into this client.

agreed... except for

- after a while a v1.1 client will be released on github, when he mined enough

and my newest hobby ... lol at no source ... 4 pages deep on forum and still no source.... at least the italy coin had source available, and just forgot to post it when posting here at bitcointalk... which i rudely reminded them to do...

but after looking all 7 pages of matches on google for search "Pangu coin github"  there appears to be no such thing...

https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/1203-pangu-pgc-information/    --- same thing here.... no source...

I repeat my process of banging head onto desk because no source code for yet another coin....

Whatever. I'm seriously looking to help people. Sorry if there are 50,000,000 coins I have to look through.

No you are not, stop begging, find a job or buy mining equipment, i am sick of seeing the same posts everywhere. You can't earn everything by writing.

Thanks.

difficulty did not recalculate, 400 blocks by 26 hours mined by the network, it's about 1 block in 4 minutes.

Yes I think this is exactly what happened.

It is not the first time Chinese did this. The 1st was yacoin. Then ybcoin, where there was a secret GPU miner, that the devs had used since the beginning, it was published after 1 week or so. This coin does exactly the same. It's a public trick now. Absolutely no point to mine this coin, it's a garbage.

BTW, you see the existence of GPU miner by looking at its instamine rate, it's easy to see the real block time as opposed to the "design" block time.

Also, I was told another coin by Chinese guy: Freecoin (FEC) - another script-jane coin, did exactly the same.

with the 128 premine  and no source code

what exchange is going to pick up this coin?

A Chinese one?

Which Chinese exchange?  Now you've peaked my interest.

Just speculating, I only know of BTCLTC. Anyone know others?
