PIVX wallet has one problem: if it is closed not correctly, database corrupts. Was it fixed in new wallet version?

Yes, this was addressed / improved in v2.2.1. (link below)
https://forum.pivx.org/t/pivx-wallet-2-2-1-release/

Code: https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/commit/bce67cb9f5187cd3bc37e4ca87f19b9dcc26774f

I've even had first hand experience today accidently shutting down my Windows PC that was running 2 separate PIVX wallets.
Both wallets came up just fine with v2.2.1 whereas it would not have with any other previous version.

PIVX got added to another Chinese exchange today as their 4th coin!
Isn't the biggest exchange but it's China so potential can't be ignored. Wink

Is the "Borris123 Windows Masternode Setup Guide" on the first page still something worthwhile to read through to learn how to set up a masternode?  Or are the instructions outdated?

Other than downloading the latest wallet (currently v2.2.1), masternode setup methods hasn't changed since day 1 of this coin's launch yet. Smiley

FYI

sold 50 pivx today direct for euro on https://anycoindirect.eu.

the experience was very good!

currency rate was real time and i received the cash on my paypal account 1 hour later (you can also payout to your bank account with SEPA/IBAN)

very nice and i think this works just as well in other direction (you have some more possibilities if you buy coins there)

yes it is just replace darknet with pivx everywhere.
you can also find some newer guides here:

https://forum.pivx.org/c/pivx-guides

reminder friendly or not Smiley:
just ~6 days left for next and last reward/inflation reduction (halving 10 to 5 pivx)

happy noding & staking

Its really affecting most alts since btc really rallying up and we cant see any sign of retrace but im still positive that alts can adjust especially those who have some good progress and project that will be usable in the long run. Keep collecting cheap pivx.

bought it when it was little under 40 cents. Didn't care when price was 2 usd, don't care if it goes under 1. It doesn't matter if you are long term investor

Ofcourse it was a clear manipulation... someone puted a big sell order of around 30.000 pivx and then removed them. Why do you think pivx is expensive? Look at gnosis!! two weeks old coin and from the begining in top 15. Just dont listen to people who think that the pivx will crash. It is always the same. When I was new in this business I sold a lot of coins in fear that the price will fall. But every single time coins gained the price back. I bought zcash at 50$. After a month it was 30$. I couldnt wait because I was stupid and I sold the zcash. After short time the price now is 100$. Thats just one case.

Latest wallet 2.2.1 has bad memory leak, currently uses over 5gb growing.

dunno how you've come to this conclusion, but would need some substantial evidence to support the claim as none of my instances across multiple platforms are anywhere near that after weeks of running. File an issue on github and give some details.

Hi all

First my wallet has stopped to sync, even with the last Walllet

Second : is PIVX dead ? 0.98$ WTF

no problem here with latest wallet for days. maybe delete the chain and resync or load from backup?
you can allways sell your coins (but i would not atm!)

@muchoman are you sure? my wallet needs ~500mb RAM (not growing) after running for about 72 hrs

Yes, leaking badly, predicting crash in near future.

Had my wallet staking for days with no problems!
