It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

Anyone explain what the purpose of master nodes is?
October 07, 2016, 05:39:23 PM
This week, we reached the highest masternode count ever for DNET since launch. Over 1100 masternodes.
Market cap on the other hand dipped a little due to recent price drop. But the all time trend is still going up. But yeah, we won't be at this price for long once the devs start releasing some big updates & news. October 07, 2016, 11:40:30 AM
update: 75 master nodes are operating nominally and on a stable chain, will be several days now
soon maybe tomorrow ,collect and spinning more towards 80 and > , selling nothing October 07, 2016, 09:32:02 AM
Maybe it's time to change topic of this thread to more actual?

Truly untraceable tx feature is being developed and will come in due time.
In the meantime, DNET still is missing a lot of components and they take time to mature / develop also. For example: better website/portal, mobile apps & wallets, more robust network, more robust code, more devs, more distribution etc. If any of you can help out the devs, please feel free to contact s3v3nh4cks or StakeBox here via PM or on slack. Personally, I'm thinking 3-6 months before anything major happens with DNET. (although I would be happy to be wrong on this. ) P.S. I do not know any more than any of you here as I'm not a DNET dev. I have my masternode online again since yesterday and it is showed in the MN info page, but I haven't received any pay since yesterday.... Any idea why? the timer has reset and you have to wait 48 hours plus. i only just started to receive payments today. a lot more MN online now so will take longer to receive payments. 1112 online. that a new all time record? I didn't know about the 48 hours delay. Thanks for yor clarification. October 06, 2016, 03:54:16 PM

we went over 1100 masternodes at one point there everything stable my end getting regular payouts from masternodes and staying in sync. a simple '=' messed up the chain last time. now we got a working test net no problems like that should happen again. I'm not sure the testnet would have found the last problem. More (friendly) eyes carefully looking at the code in github and the changes would help too. I think that that having possibilities for the p2p communication go through (or not go through) TOR, IPv4 and IPv6 can lead to groups of peers and masternodes to head off on their own chain when there are issues with connectivity. .... Thank you very much for your help. just one last question: I've read that in order to create a MN address I have to send exactly 10 000 DNET to that address. So I think I'll start to mine with that address with the 10 000 DNET, but if I want to increase my stake weight, do I have to create a new MN address or I can deposit more coins to that address (the MN address created already) Sorry for my newbie questions hmmm i use different wallets as masternode controller and staking but i'm 99% sure that you should use a different address for staking coins send exactly 10k dnet to your mn address not more and not less otherwise the mn will maybe not work. np we were all newbies once So you do not stake with the MN wallet. You just put there 10 000 DNET to let it "work" than you stake with another address, where you can add or remove all the coins you wish, and you get the reward as Master node (so 27 DNET instead of 13 DNET) the 10 000 of the MN will stay there "forever". Am I right? not forever only as long as you wish to operate a masternode. you can use the 10k at any time if you wish thank you for your explanations October 05, 2016, 11:22:14 AM
