jakiman is back!
Download Dnet v1.0.2.0 :

Code:
wget https://github.com/Darknet-Crypto/Darknet/releases/download/v1.0.2.0/DarkNet-1.0.2.0-Linux64.zip

I was following the upgrade guide and this file no longer exists on github. Sad
Do I use something else now to upgrade?

I was running a masternode without any problem in v1.0.1.0, but after update to v1.0.2.0 I'm not able to restart it again.

I recieved this message when asking masternode status in windows qt wallet masternode status.

Not capable masternode: Could not connect to XX.XXX.XXX.108:51472

I have scanned port 51742 online and it's open  Undecided

Any help will be appreciated  Embarrassed

Without more information no one can help you. Is this a local Masternode, or a remote/local setup? Did you do anything in your data directory when upgrading? Any other information you can think of?
Sorry, it's true, very few info.

It's a unique local masternode. To update the wallet, I simply closed the program and replace the old version for the new one in my ...\roaming\darknet directory. When I restarted the program and typed masternode status I recieved a first message of
 "status" : "Not capable masternode: Wallet is locked."
That I haven't received never before.

If I unlock the wallet and try to restart the masternode the message of the top start to appear.

I get a similar problem with 1.0.2.0 but not 1.0.1.0

When enabling from the controller with start-alias, everything looks fine, with a "result":"successful".

Checking the debug.log of the masternode I can see the correct "Got NEW Masternode entry -" line (identified by txid). Then with masternode list, I can see the correct line "ENABLED" (identified by txid).

But when I do masternode status, I get:

{
   "vin" : "CTxIn(COutPoint(0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000, 4294967295), coinbase )",
    "service" : "[::]:0",
    "status" : "Not capable masternode: Hot node, waiting for remote activation."
}

I think there is a problem with the new release.

update, 14th master node projection are @500$ a day x 13 will do 14th by the next week with some supplementary exchange add

what do you mean?

what it means is I am building a network and no sell and towards 50 master nodes total , have to engage hardware in other areas so master nodes I build proceeds come from all prior

Wow that's a lot of masternodes Smiley

goal is 50 as said before and I am not kidding and 0 sell, an VPS costs me about 5$ a month (each) and did already 4 of em thats 20$  and I have 13 so 50  - 13 thats 37  by 5 that's 185$ a month +

master nodes also have to be fast so has to be 5$ ... we will see ... people spend 200$ a day mining DNET

will update every time I have new node up

You know, I offer hosted nodes for 2$ a month.  MP-Hosting does too

HI, which to use the a team to launch a  certain master node, without using the command "masternode start-many" ?
I think, if I understand you correctly, you are looking for "masternode start-alias XXX" where the XXX would be replaced with the name of your Masternode as you have it in the masternode.conf.
Yes, thank you, just to run the required master node

and I never sell (any crypto actually that I collect) so it is a bit difficult but doable so by my estimation I can do 2 master nodes a week with some supplemental buying, and I bought 2K DNET Today towards an extra node and so I shall next week etc

Master Node Service Release

The release is now official.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1404778.new#new

In an effort to provide the best service to the community, mp-hosting and coin-server had a great meeting today.  The result is good news for everyone.

Both mp-hosting and coin-server will have a cost of 2$ per masternode contract.  Wait, wasn't mp-hosting just $1.50 a month?  Yes, that is correct but there was also a $1.00 setup fee.  For mp-hosting, the new price will go into effect on 1 April 2016 and for coin-server the current fee is 2$.

mp-hosting and coin-server have agreed to a continued partnership to ensure that the DarkNet community is always given quality masternode hosting at an affordable price.

update, 14th MN is under way, complete DNET accumulation has now reached 140,000 (in FIAT that's circa 800$), consider me a backbone of the price support (I am not the only one)

total capitalization is back up to 250 BTC circa... pretty darn good

seeing network difficulty rise as well restructuring of inflationary aspect of the coin

had to also go in and do git pull of new codebase as instructed on all servers, tedious but important

have a great weekend all!

************  Masternode Hosting Now Available  *************

Coin-Server.com has been working hard.  This week we officially switched to a full 1Gb fiber connection, replaced all of our switches with shiny brand new gigabit switches, fired up a new router to support it all, and in conjunction with that we were able to add support for IPV6.  With our services being IPV6 enabled now, we wanted to offer others who have IPV6 support or a 4to6 Tunnel the ability to have masternodes on IPV6 addresses.

If you are interested in one of these, they are 2$ (approx. 0.0047BTC) each for a 30 day contract, payments can be made through coinbase.  Shoot me a PM if you would like to have one setup for you or if you have questions.  Our current available servers allow us to have about 60 of these running at one time and we have plans to expand, and if all goes well we will have dedicated order forms here soon.

For those who may wish to use this service but do not have IPV6 capabilites, here is a solution for you.  All you need is a tunnel adapter like Teredo.  For the windows guys and gals out there, here is the HOW-TO for your review.  Pretty simple to get up and running.  IPV6 is a brave new world....

Just realized this is not even needed.  The controlling wallet doesn't ever actually talk to the node.  So, coin-server.com has master nodes for everyone.  These are fully managed, you don't need to log in.  We set it up and give you the details for your masternode.conf file.  Just set it and forget it... Yep bad infomercial reference there Smiley

this sounds good... so as long as we have wallet addresses with 10k in each you send us the config file and that's it all done?

Yes, you would set your wallet up as a normal wallet.  Do not set masternode=1 in the conf.

Follow the process to get the transaction output and the masternode key.

I will then setup the remote node and provide you the address.

Then you just set your masternode.conf file for that key and transaction using the IPV6 address i provide to you.

Set it and forget it

Am I the only one finding it odd that you want to host darknet nodes and are only accepting payments through coinbase, an AML/KYC compliant service?

Good point there.  I don't want to run my own BTC wallet, eats up too much space for me.  I will gladly accept DNET directly as well.

At first glance it sounded like a honeypot lol. We have one service primarily cornering the MN market, so its good to see provider competition which will help the market thrive. At the least maybe look into a coinpayments integration as a merchant

Understood there, yea a monopoly is a bad thing.  I am pretty sure the devs and the mp-hosting guys will vouch for me as well.  I have known them both for quite some time now and want to do all I can to see that this project and community are as successful as they possibly can be.  The pool at coin-server.com is going to have some very specific features here soon solely focused on DarkNet.

Yea, coinpayments is an option as well, just need the time to get it all setup correctly.

Another service that I will be using is payservices.com.  They are relatively new, but have some really exciting features coming online as well.

Its good to see someone else starting to do Masternodes i can vouch for James we have worked  of a few projects before  Good Guy
And if you need any help with coinpayments left me know.

thanks
Paul

Thanks Paul.
