Hello!

Is there a direct port for NOTE?

There's not, at the moment. One could be added if there's interest though.

Thanks for the quick response!  Hopefully some other miners will show some interest.  Smiley

http://fuk.io - check it out!
Over the past ~36 hours we noticed malicious users using an exploit that allowed duplicate shares to be submitted. We have now fixed the problem and the users that were using the exploit have now been permanently banned from mining on ipoMiner. This issue has affected nearly all pools and versions of stratum mining software, and we suggest advising all pools to be aware of the issue and take preemptive steps to fix it.

fast reaction - good job!

We'll be removing the following coins at midnight on May 18: Bitmark, Doxcoin, Torrentcoin, Librarycoin, Firegeek, Whalecoin, Bitlux, Positron, LiteDoge, 8Bit, Slingcoin, Cybercoin. Please withdraw those by then if you have a balance and want to keep them. Note that some of those blockchains/wallets may be dead (no connections) and sending may be impossible -- specifically that I've noticed, Firegeek, Whalecoin, and Librarycoin.

edit 5.5.2015: they have finally got FTC direct port working, THX!

Sorry for the delay.. there was a botnet trying to mine neoscrypt/FTC that was causing problems and it took a while to sort that out.

On another note, some IPs have been blocked from connecting to the pool due to excessive connection attempts. If you have trouble with your miner not connecting, just send us an email and we will whitelist your IP.

What about Quatloo? That direct port is still not fixed (3450).

Thanks.

All direct ports have been re-enabled, along with the neoscrypt multiport.
no they have not! FTC port is still unavailable:

So... what my share difficulty settings should be if i have, let's say 255 Mh/s in scrypt?

Are you using a specific asic? Or just 255 MH of assorted miners? 2048 should be fine, unless you're using an asic that requires a specific difficulty to perform at its best.. in which case just use that Smiley

The pool stratum was unavailable for ~53 minutes from 6:37-7:30 AM GMT due to an extremely large number of connections being made, which initially appeared to be an attack. After looking into it, it actually seems to have been a massive botnet that was trying to mine neoscrypt/feathercoin.

The neoscrypt multiport has been disabled for now, and most direct ports (other than ZRC) will be unavailable until they've been reconfigured. (I would estimate the direct ports will be available in ~12 hours.)

The Scrypt, SHA256, X11, and Lyra2RE multiports are all working again.

If you are running your own miners, you may need to have them reconnect to the pool so they resolve the new IP and use it.

Say a coin will no longer be mined on your site and probably delisted . What happens to wallets of old delisted coins. Do they come back? when there is no exchange then what wait.
If any coin mined doesn't have a wallet associated to it, then it comes time to send it to a wallet. I suppose the wallet depends on the dev's node still working. Do these dead coins comeback?

Coin networks are decentralized and based on peers. For some coins, the dev will run nodes, but that isn't always the case. (And even when they do, they could stop running them.) Centralized nodes aren't required for coins to continue operating; all you need are multiple people running the wallet and mining the coin to advance the blockchain (whether that's via POW mining or POS minting).

If there's no exchange, and you want to keep the coins for a coin that's being removed from ipoMiner, you need to download and run the wallet for the coin. If others continue to operate their wallet and there are people mining it, the coin's network will continue to operate -- if not, then the coin is "dead".

If 2 miners are mining the same coin when the first one goes down does the second pickup the slack of blocks found in your pool.
In other words are the blocks found tied to the miners or our login names.

1st miner (yourname.1) finds a block on your pool and while running a second miner on your pool, same coin (yourname.2) you decide to shutdown 1st miner. What happens

All accounting is tied to your account, based on username of course. You can have multiple miners on a single worker, and multiple workers, all mining a single coin -- or multiple coins, multiple algorithms, etc.
