The OctaSpace node software is open-sourced and available on GitHub.
With respect to the community, this step is necessary to demonstrate transparency and provide proof that software installed on nodes is not malware or does not have malicious code.

This project is quite obscure, does not have WhitePaper (at least I couldn't find it and the links provided today no longer work), there is no roadmap. The person does not know if he is mining a coin or giving his rent machine, which is also clear about payments on the official website.

We just reached 10,000 blocks and new miners are joining the network! When the pools arrive the difficulty will fly so it is better to take advantage now.

These services are:
* Rent or rent out hardware for heavy computation tasks like machine learning, video rendering or brute force wifi password of your neighbors
* VPN access using nodes located around the world with the following benefits:
* It's easy to setup using non modified and opensource software available for many platforms
* You able to choose the VPN technology you wanna use, at this moment the wireguard and shadowsocks with v2ray plugin is implemented.
In the future we planned to add more technologies especially focusing to bypass China's golden shield (Great Firewall of China)
* No limits for amount of devices connected simultaneously
* Any other services which will be useful for people, we are open for ideas from community
* Use crypto as a payment method for services above and utilize blockchain technology for services needs
So, octa.space project is about real usage services, cryptocurrency and blockchain it's a one of used technology/instrumentations to achive the goals.
