The idea behind Power ledger is great. I have invested a couple of weeks ago and now all I can say is that was a good bet. The project is aiming to solve a real problem and that is why I bought some tokens. The road is going to long because we will see countries with the electricity monopoly to try and stop this project but like a wise man once said "If you build it, they will come" and that will probably will happen in the long run.

Send coins from bittrex to MEW by transferring it to your ETH address of your account of MEW.

Thanks for the response but I have already sent them to the address which came up when I went onto ethplorer.io and this transaction has been successful. So I think I have probably lost them, but wanted to know if there is anything I can do to get them back...?

I'm wondering if you sent to one of those two addresses.

If you did, you may be in good fortune because those addresses, as far as I understand belong to PowerLedger.

So you may want to try contact the team if that is the case. And the good thing is that its recorded on the blockchain so is undisputable. Theyre nice people so they may be able to send back to you.

Lets hope thats the addresses you may have sent to.

And whatever you do, DO NOT share your private key with anyone

For those not in Australia Origin Energy is one of the big 3 Energy retailers that supply millions of homes in Australia with electrical power and gas. Renewables is a sector ready to boom in Australia with Microgrids, and a lot more large scale everything - solar thermal, pumped hydro, hot rocks, storage and wind coming down the pipeline fast! my state govt in Queensland have pledged to go to 50% renewables for all power by 2020. South Australia are on the same or better targets.. the whole country is heading there. So we are not suprised to see POWR jump from 970 to 54 in the market cap rankings this month. And no doubt it's nowhere near finished yet. Anyone concerned about climate change can send a message to the world thru this investment.. we want change and we want it now! Go POWR! go renewables.

Most of the Pump is for the palm beach leak (suspicions rumoured all over 4chan and reddit) a few hours before the newsletter is released.

I prefer too stay away at this price, i find the marketcap already too high. Reminds me when people bought chanlink(similar supply) at 0.4 in the hype... also either if it´s palm beach peak or not, with that huge supply it could correct to 0.2/0.3.

I didn't dig up deep in the documents so far, but what I can say from first glimpse is, I am seeing a solid idea, processed by a solid team with a growing community around the coin. I will definitely dig deeper and look for a good entry point. Would you guys suggest to jump in now?

Some people really don't understand how this can change things. So I will spell it out, one part is that it can remove energy retailers. Distribution still remains but people with solar and batteries can essentially become the retailers.

Part 2 is Powr also allows you to invest in assets and then collect a dividend.

If you're wondering what POWR tokens are used for, read 4.4 of the whitepaper. The tokens are used to create a currency fixed price token called Sparkz (worth 1 AUD penny each). The more of these you wish to transact, the more POWR you need.

This seems like a great idea, but will it be used outside of Australia?
