Horizon State Developer Update
Hello, and welcome to our first “formal” development update here at Horizon State. Thus far we mainly discussed fragments of progress over Telegram and such, but have not really taken the time to put something out to the community in a less transient manner.
This update will serve as the start of a regular developer update series, so that you all can follow our progress as we reach our development milestones.
Over the past few months we have had four different focus areas from a development perspective. While this may seem to deter the team from a laser focus perspective so admired by startups, there were good reasons to work in this manner.

Hey Horizon State fam, how goes it? This is an update from your Social Media manager, Hafeez, on a new social channel we’re bringing aboard at Horizon State. The online world is always changing, and we want to do our best to be where the greater blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiasts congregate so that we’re always part of the conversation.
Today we’re proud to announce that we’ve setup a Discord Channel, where we’ll be integrating multiple chat rooms to better serve the many different interests of our community. We know that for a while we’ve had different opinions on what goes on in the main Telegram channel; in the interest of being diplomatic and giving everyone a chance to build bonds, we’re going to create rooms that can host the various conversation topics that come up through the workings of our eclectic Horizon State fans.

Blockchain coming to Japanese Telecom Giant Nippon
Horizon Communications is not the only Telecom looking at the strength of blockchain technology.
Japanese telecommunications giant Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) has mentioned that it is looking at inventing a new contract agreement system that is built on blockchain technology, a patent application released on Thursday said.
Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) is the world’s 4th largest telecommunication provider and over the years, the organization has embarked on various technological innovations to enhance its services. Recently, the telecom provider highlighted how it could use the blockchain application to store contracts in a safe and secure manner, without allowing the files to be interfered with.

Horizon Communications will be a high speed Internet Service Provider (ISP), headquartered in
Bermuda before expanding worldwide. Horizon will utilize LTE fixed wireless for last-mile delivery
to end users.
Our service offering will include Internet speeds of up to 150 Mbps in 2018 and 300 Mbps and
faster in late 2018 / 2019.
Alongside high speed Internet services, we will provide High Definition TV services as well as
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Telephone services. This wireless network infrastructure
will be delivered over a software defined radio system custom built using 4G LTE-Advanced
(Release 14) standards.
On completion of a successful capital raise, Horizon is scheduled to launch our business in
Bermuda and BVI in mid to late 2018. Using the same technology, we will be expanding to the
Caribbean, other Central American countries and then internationally

Using cutting edge fixed wireless technology that is currently being used to supply high speed internet around the world in major markets, Horizon once capitalized, can quickly deploy its fixed wireless solution, with very minor capital requirements compared to traditional telecom companies while driving down the cost of maintaining the network well below our competitors.

I am monitoring all the phases of the campaign of this project. I would like in my small advice to increase maybe the promotions and everything related to pr management. It is a pity that a project with such useful ideas for the community is not on the wave of the hype.

Horizon Communications (Horizon) is a technology driven company that will use next generation, fixed wireless LTE to deliver its service offerings. Horizon’s goal is to provide high speed internet (150mbps in 2018 and 300mbps in 2019), high definition Cable TV and VOIP telephone services in areas where customers currently receive poor, unreliable, and overpriced services. On completion of a successful capital raise, Horizon plans to launch in its flagship market Bermuda, between mid to late 2018. Horizon will then focus on expansion to Caribbean and Central American countries over the next few years.
