Sadly this is how things work, if BTC pump people sell alts to join the train, if BTC dump hard people sell alts for usd to buy more BTC

We need alternative ways to get altcoin, without BTC. But I think we are on a good way, there are so many new projects and developments, that in future the dependencie beetween BTC and ALT won't be so strong anymore.

On the one hand it's great, because regular dividends can eventually reduce the price of token. It's better not to get deviants, and that token price with project progress would rise higher and higher

Alas, I agree with ParRus. Dividends are not always well affect the value of coins. Usually the free distribution greatly reduces the cost of tokens.

yes they are not always good for a token, but see it as like POS, the more you have the more you get, thus can be positive price for the token too.

Bear in mind that current state of ethereum isn't the best for conducting ico. Network is extremely clogged right now

It depends to the project. The EOS ICO despite being in different exchanges now, is still ongoing. It is a yearlong ICO. However, ModulTrade did not laid out the reason why the ICO went on for this too long. For me, I am not seeing this as a negative, I think this is even better because we can still avail some ModulTrade in a discounted price.

I don't see a problem either in an ICO for a period of 2 months. Especially when something unexpected like the congestion of the Ethereum network happens, it is good to have some buffer instead of having to decide whether to extend the sale or not.

I think that there is still a problem with whole ETH network. It should handle much higher transaction volume without any problems

Yes, there are scaling solutions needed for the Ethereum network. But these take time to be ready for implementation. So either people lose interest in the kitties game or the network gets updated. Whatever comes first.

Strange that eth price has not fallen much in recent times,
I think if during 1 week will not be able system work, we can see the price of $ 100 for 1 eth or maybe less.
