The thing is that it still hasn't the clients that would be using it, if they publish or make a statement then that will attract clients, but because it is in its infancy, it wouldn't be wise to do it, for now, it would be better if we common folks make trades and test the platform, eventually it will start making good things.

they'll need to push hard to get this to be used by companies. since they have a platform now, maybe they should spend a lot on marketing.

I think marketing is always the part where the most money is getting poured in to. It's not only the product but definitely the marketing that makes a system like MT successful.

If they could combine Product+Marketing then no one will be able to stop them from reaching the hard cap.

Very good offer. Despite the fact that they have bounty companies, they need to deploy a number of articles about themselves and the platform in various media

Yep! Think the strategy and token mechanics is very clear.
ModulTrade published recently on their medium blog

A positive look ahead on how and why the value of the ModulTrade token, MTRc, might increase.

The article provides approximate calculations of the growth of value. But this prediction only, as it will in fact, we will see in a few months.

... it wasn't long ago I could sent with 0.5 Gwei easily

I am sure the Ethereum developers were well aware that there are scaling solutions needed and they were already working on it. They did not need this game to show it to them and just because the kitties game is clogging the network they can't just release something right now that is planned to be finished in a year.

If they were well aware, why did they allow the network to take that amount of transactions that led to such clogging then? They deliberately let all the network flaws be there for everybody to see? Don't think so.
